saw someone post "I don't understand why anyone would have separate 'winter tires' unless they're just looking for things to spend money on" and looked at her account and she's from LA. which is funny but I think we're all guilty of similar behavior sometimes. if you see people spending time and effort on something that seems stupid to you it's worth considering whether you're the Californian in this scenario

#i’d still have adhd and it would still affect my ability to do whatever fun stuff i’d do in a utopia #but it would be ‘’’’less severe’’’’ because i wouldn’t have to work around it to do my job and pay the bills or do like required stuff #cause it wouldn’t negatively affect my ability to survive just my ability to get things i wanna do done. which is still a negative. so #still disabling. just in a slightly different way #but also i’m medicated pretty effectively so im able to function fairly well most of the time #etc
