all the rights that come with marriage you should be able to have without marriage btw. you should be able to designate a person who can visit you in the hospital regardless of your relationship to that person.

You should be able to add anyone you want on your health insurance plan.

You should be able to sponsor the visa of anyone you choose to move to your home country.

You should be able to name anyone you choose as the legal-from-birth legal coparent of any child you give birth to.

You should be able to apply for student aid on your own at any age.

And yes, yes, ideally healthcare and college should be free, international migration should be unrestricted, and the entire concept of legal parenthood should be rewritten from the ground up. But right now we're talking about marriage benefits.

Ima be 100% this is my views on the BG situation since ive needed to refamiliarize myself with it considering Bonk decided to be a pos.

1. Meeting your wife at 14 is creepy. Period. There is not a thing you can say to make me believe otherwise.

2. Being 10 years your partners senior is certainly a red fucking flag considering the youngers age at the time of the friendship start (i will talk about the claims they werent friends) to the relationship to the marriage itself. Which to remind you was

19 and 29

22 and 32

Notice how the younger hadnt fully developed mentally? Since that generally happens in the mid to late 20's?

3. The VA for Apple Bloom someone who considers BG to be a brother has gone on record and said they barely interacted outside professional settings. Which, I can not stress enough, is a fucking lie. Theres an entire archive of Claire and BG in a bedroom reviewing MLP.

4. Im not even gonna touch Destiny and the snap chat situation because those are most contentious. Just going off objective fact their relationship on the outside comes off as creepy as fuck to me. Especially considering that by Claire's own admission they started dating before she turned 20.

Is that enough to convict him? No. Because technically no crime was commited as far as we know. They started dating after Claire was a legal age. Proving a grooming case would need the victim to see themselves as such which Claire doesn't.

My point is I think its creepy and im not gonna not say its creepy. I think people should know that this is a thing. Based on the evidence I can gather the evidence does point to BG being a straight up creep but I dont have definitive proof.

the intro shot of rick o'connell in the mummy is one of the best and most efficient camera work in an action movie. the way pacific rim utilizes space when showing the kaijus is literally taught in art school. they're not just blockbusters they're also iconic movies on a technical point of view!

before my egg cracked, i had noticed that trans people were often pro-accessibility and up-to-date on the needs of disabled people, but i hadn’t seen any inherent connection between the two (other than the obvious minority-looking-out-for-other-minority thing). but now that i’m trans and medically transitioning, and i have to constantly repeat myself while talking to doctors and nurses, and explain things about my own anatomy to medical staff who should already know this, and having every single problem i might have blamed on my “condition” so nothing i say is taken seriously, all of the sudden i have a little sneak peak into the life of someone who has to deal with this all the time. like shit bro, being disabled probably sucks ass, someone should do something about this
