Lovely last wander around Taipei. Didn't get the best weather up Yangmingshan so I missed what the Qingtiangang Grassland should have looked like. Happy moments nonetheless and the artsy Taiwan really rings through, especially in dreamy Treasure Hill Creative Village. Made it to Yehliu on a public bus too so yay!

Taichung dreaming. Had some wonderful days traipsing through beautiful weather and dreamy parts of Taichung. Taking it all in. Outside looking in. Earthquake notwithstanding though.

A reflective end to the year in a distant land, as I've always wanted, year after year's December. A cuppa with cake and a good book, in a retired train carriage turned cafe, with a pretentious IG-worthy snapshot, no less. Never thought I'd miss the solace, romanticism and liberty of solo girl travelling again, this much.

The grief of losing D still comes in waves, seeing a ckcs printed on a dog food packaging of a random pet supplies store I wander into, while waiting for the public bus...

Looks like I travelled too much and read too little in 2025. Haha. Arggh I just can't seem to read any faster anymore though! Same reading speed as 2024, but apparently travelled 30% less this year as compared to 2024.

Revisiting a land 20 years on and revelling in it's beauty, in the best company one could ask for.

Sweet ex cousin-in-law donated to Purely Adoptions in dearest departed D's name alongside her departed Tutu (we'd like to believe they are playing together in doggo heaven over the rainbow bridge 🌈 now, as dearest C says.)

I didn't ask as I don't care, but she also shared anyway that evil ex hubs and his SO are aimless and drifting in life with no aspiration nor sources of income, living off his dad and holding his dad back from being able to sell his own HDB flat. That's so sad for my ex father-in-law, who is getting on in age yet still burdened by his leeching son.

Realizing that the soulless evil ex husband and SO are actually just NPCs on this planet, disrupting and leeching off everyone else, sigh

Seeing how ugly the ex hubs (some poor sod's le boyf, whatever the fuck that means) and his partner has gotten these days, I cannot be more grateful that his evil true colours were revealed sooner than later.

Thinking back about what a fool I was, I guess I'm just grateful I've grown more discerning (I hope?) to how vile, evil and disgusting seemingly good people you actually wanted to marry before, can be.

Let the reminders of his cheating with his university friend Eileen (countless fucking at hotels even before our wedding already), his prostitute visits till he had gotten STDs back in 2018, his trying too hard okc profile in 2018 while still married, and his eventual cheating with Jax while still married, in late 2018, serve as lifelong reminders for me of how the lowest of low life forms can worm their ways into our lives to teach us the hardest lessons we need.
