Reblogging this on main because I am so mokarun pilled that I nearly cried when I saw this curry. Can you imagine a cannon divergence only in the plating of the curry she makes him in Space Globalists (MANGA SPOILERS BEWARE)

Because imagine.

Momo carefully plating ration curry for the boy she loves. She doesn’t know if he’s going to wake up. She doesn’t know if she’s going to survive the coming battle. But she knows that food is good and food heals and this could be her last message to him. So she makes a little space man in the rice. Because if he wakes up, it’ll make him smile.

I would love to see a take on the Space Globalists arc with a little more emphasis on the existential dread of it all. It’s treated very lightly most of the time, which is par for the course in dandadan (except for certain moments when it locks in but even then it moves on pretty quick). I think it would be very satisfying to keep everything mostly the same, but linger a bit on the dread.

This is part of what has me very excited for season 3 because while the anime tends to stay very close to the manga, often recreating things panel for panel, it also does very well at making everything even more gut-punchy. That will be really good for this arc.

In Mythika: Ebajalg are evil Air Elementals taking the form of a Dust Devil, Tornado, Hurricane or Whirlwind made of rage, death energy and the weapons of the slain it collected in its windy form. It is said that these air elementals are created when a Air Elemental is summoned on a slaughter/war field and too much death energy gets absorbed into its spinning form, turning it into an evil and intelligent creature that only wants destruction and bloodshed. They collect the weapons of the slain inside their forms to make the impact they have on fleshy creatures even more lethal. Malicious in the extreme these creatures can also spawn in the ocean where battles between pirate ships are plenty.
