it really is kind of interesting how attached people are to the idea of the improvised line and the genuine reaction in film. nearly every single famous moment or line has some sort of claim floating around that it wasn't in the script and was either made up on the spot by an actor or was sprung as a surprise on the actors to get their 'real' reaction. you know, sometimes people do come up with good lines in advance and write them down, and sometimes people can pretend to be have a convincing emotional response on screen
Had a dream last night where I saw this, incredibly terrifying movie. And ofc with dream logic stuff it was able to be very uh. Immersive, and in more ways than like 4DX or um. ScreenX. That doesnt matter. The point is it scared me and I woke up looking to be scared. I have to find some movie I havent seen thatll scare me like that. I still get scared by movies. Obsession scared me Hokum scared me Skinamarink scared me Possum scared me. So idk. Ill look.

They should give some stephen king projects to people that arent flanagan. Not saying he's incapable but like. Give someone else a chance. Plus flanagan is kinda reddit, im sorry to say
I don’t think people truly understand the scope of the damage Sony is about to do to physical media. They literally invented the compact disc. They are the reason why Blu-ray as a format won the HD wars over HD-DVD. They have gargantuan influence over manufacturing disc-based media. If Sony as a company stops making physical media for their next gen gaming consoles, this is going to affect movies and music as well. If you buy CDs, DVDs, or Blu-rays, those are next on the chopping block.
I can't seem to stop thinking about Smile 2. I would've despised that movie just a couple years ago but it really gave me what I actually wanted from Smile (which sucks). And it's not even like Smile 2 is good. It's just...decadent? It's so full of itself and it's so edgy and it's so trashy and so cynical. And im kinda obsessed with it? I want to get a copy cause it's a movie I could just Have On. I loved it actually and it's stuck with me. Now it's your turn to smile...too!
Just think, one day your wife is cleaning the cat litter and she gets a worm in her, and that worm ends up in her brain. The next thing that happens is she gets an idea in there, too. And it's hard to say whether that idea is really hers or it's just the worm. And it makes her do certain things. Predator things. Eventually, you realize that she isn't the same person anymore. She's not the person that she used to be. It's gotta make you wonder, whether you're really married to her... or married to the worm. – Possessor (2020) dir. Brandon Cronenberg
There's a weird 3 star movie out there ready to change your life forever
