wrong blog, but i think a lot about how rose and pearl have said that human emotions are complex and hard to understand to gems, but blue is so … emotional. she knew a deep love and now she feels a deep loss and we’ve seen her furious, and, while it all revolves around pink, it is such an interesting thing how the cgs see human emotion as complex, but blue was confused that a human understood her sadness. is this a reflection of gem culture ? do the diamonds make gems believe they are unfeeling ? or is this a reflection of how the cgs see humans compared to the diamonds ?
