Poetry of Memories, part four of four.

Alright, here's some final considerations: I drew this comic to test my skills at sequential artwork while still keeping the abstraction I'm very fond of.

Each page is drawn to resemble a memory (both Berdly's and Susie's), hence why the characters and backgrounds are consistent at times and aren't.

The blood that taints every page, except for the last, is meant to get the reader's attention and to create a "huh this is cute but why is it so dark" vibe of this comic.

I had fun drawing Berdly's expressions the most, though I also enjoyed drawing Noelle's hair too.

Oh yes, Susie is also in this comic too.

The extra epilogue with Toriel was a last minute addition because I felt bad for just leaving Susie in the corner crying alone. Like, I thought that having her feel regret for the injury she has inflicted on Berdly, then smiling at the thought of hearing that he was going to be fine and shocked because she was the one who beat him up in the first place was already quite powerful on its own, and I wanted to leave it there so the comic would end as a cycle... But then, I had a second thought and I was like "hey, what if it still ends as a cycle, not one of violence, but also of kindness?", and that's when Toriel came in to offer some comfort.
