Bird of Death?|| Open.
He noticed she was scared, and licked his nose with the tip of his tongue. He nudged her face, and closed his eyes, cooing softly. He go up, and put his blanket over the window, holding it down. He sat in front of it, so the room got significantly warmer. He watched her, then let out a coo.
"Sorry sorry." He said. "No mean hurt. Cold."
She whimpered as the thunder crashed outside, the bird licked its lips as if to confirm that Danyla would make a tasty morsel for it's chicks. She would be swallowed up and half-digested before being regurgitated to featherless turkeys. She shuttered with disgust and fear as it nudged her face, feeling utterly helpless. With her shutter came a vibrating coo from the bird, and she peeked one eye open to see it withdraw from her and return to the window.
Taking an exasperated breath, she let it go from between her quivering lips as it barricaded her window. Wearily crawling onto her lumpy bed, she eyed the speaking bird. "You didn't have to break my window..."
She tugged the blanket off the floor where she had been cowering before, never taking her eyes off of the giant bird. She had no idea what to say, she just stared at it as her heart rate re-entered the atmosphere.
"... Would you like some... tea?"
