"A’right. Just stay away from my computers if you’re still feeling firey."
"Want some coffee? I can put on a fresh pot since I now have company." Jock led the way into the small living room which was cluttered with various pieces of computers and parts. There was a space on the couch for Iris to sit but just barely. Jock shuffled to the kitchen which was open-plan with the living room. He started to make fresh coffee but something beeped, eliciting an excited response from the hacker. He grinned as he rushed back to the table that was groaning under the weight of computer equipment. "Finally!" He exclaimed as he began to tap away at the keyboard.
"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere near those things."
"You're finding this so bloody hilarious aren't you? And yes please. Coffee would be appropriate. Sorry for bothering you by the way. Were you sleeping?" She followed him into the living room and only just appreciated how small and cluttered it was. "Cosy," She smiled as she perched at the end of the sofa, removing a keyboard from behind her back. "But it really needs a clean!" Iris called after him. The beeping noise gave her a shock and her palms heated up in defence, but they quickly cooled when she realised it was just one of the computers. The speed in which Jock came rushing back into the room was slightly alarming, and curiosity replaced all senses as she tried to lean over his shoulder to see what was causing his excitement. It's none of your business, She thought, and instead Iris removed herself from the cluttered space and headed towards the kitchen. "I'll make the coffee then." She sighed in weariness, but she wasn't really that bothered.
