“What a beautiful arm you have there, girl!” Patient as she’s been, seeing Velvet rip through daemons without a second thought has spurred her into action, to make her presence finally known. How tempted she is to poke and prod, to see if she, too, can experience the same pain those daemons felt just moments ago. “You wanna use that bad boy on me? Tear me in half? I’ve been so naughty– a good, visceral smackdown might put me in my place~.”

The werewolf’s head was crushed under Velvet’s claw, The claw itself was pulsating as if chewing and swallowing the energy it got from the daemon, even making strange sounds, almost like slurping. Once she was done, she instantly froze, hearing the words of the strange woman.  What the hell? What kind of question was that?? “... “ Velvet took a step back and readied her wrist blade just in case. “What... are you talking about?..”

While speaking, Velvet kept looking up and down, taking in this monster’s features. At least it was intelligent enough to speak, and it hadn’t attacked, yet. Still, Velvet was apprehensive..

Mia blinks for a moment. She’s dealt with some weird people before, but someone who just happened to land in her office and had no idea where she was?? It was strange, though the woman seemed to be telling the truth, and she didn’t seem to be hiding anything. “Mia Fey, you’re currently in the law offices of Fey and Co, located in Los Angeles California, United States.” If this girl didn’t know where she was, how was she speaking the same language as Mia was?? She was concerned to say the least. “The year is 2016 if that helps.” Mia didn’t know why, but she felt that it was probably important to add that.

Golly, that’s so far from Japan! Though Jiyoran maintains a calm facade, internally she’s panicking. Add the date on top of that and…somehow she’s shifted backwards in time?! She knew Slipspeed could drop her in different dimensions, but different times altogether changes things entirely!

“This is all a lot to take in…” Furthermore, how she is even speaking American English right now? Another mystery for another time, she supposes. Even if she made her way to Japan right now, Mato wouldn’t recognize her – so it seems like she’s on her own for the most part.

“Well, ah…I have a lot to figure out, I guess. I don’t want to take up any of your time, so–” the armored being turns. She has no money on her anyways, so paying her for even a modicum of legal advice in this situation is out of the question! “I’ll be going. Thanks for the information, Ms. Fey!”

The veteran attorney quirked an eyebrow. This girl was quite eccentric. Not necessarily in a bad way, just weird. She was also worried for the woman. She seemed to be lost, not just not knowing what direction to go, but she didn’t even know where she was, when Las Angeles was a pretty popular city. Perhaps it was  slight memory loss? The woman didn’t seem to be injured, but that didn’t mean that there wasn’t any internal injuries affecting the brain. “Do...you need some help? Do you know where you’re going? What’s your name?” Just some simple questions. Mia wanted to get a feel of just how out of it, this girl was.

Once more, she’s in an unfamiliar place on behalf of Slipspeed. Lips draw back in a goofy smile– popping up in random locations has become rather humorous to the alien. It’s no hellscape this time, thankfully!
