two doomed queens telling each other "exaaaaactlyyyy"
sir, my autistic daughter asked for no pickles!
so, let me talk abt this thing i saw on twitter... also covering anything that might id the person bc i'm rly not trying to be a hater or start a witch hunt in this fandom, i just think i have the right to an opinion since i'm someone who constantly tells ppl to just have fun with the show and blah blah blah.
okay, i honestly don't get this desperate need for everyone to have the same opinion. look, when i say opinion i mean opinions, not prejudices... i don't think it's okay to be misogynistic even if it's toward a character or not, nor do i think it's okay to be transphobic toward an actor... but that's obvious, right? RIGHT?!
why do they always try to play the victim? i constantly see y'all on twitter (y'all in general) fighting over dumb things one after another, like spoiled kids who make a mess and then blame the kid next to them.
calling ppl bad just for liking or not liking characters, or for being neutral and just choosing to have fun is actually insane. y'all are toxic as hell, and now i say this as a rhaenyra fan, y'all are toxic, you're annoying, and you look for fights even with your own shadow and then cry when ppl get sick of the character's — that's on you! you're the ones pushing ppl away from liking nyra in the end.
and now come the "but what abt so-and-so? you're not a real rhaenyra fan bc you don't hate every other character in the world and only likes her." guys, chill out, seriously, it's a show abt dragons and magic, i promise you rhaenyra isn't hurt by this or anything, she's way more complex than you make her seem, you make her look weak and like a baby, she's totally not that 😭😭😭
anyway, i love queen rhaenyra, i hate how badly and misogynistically she was adapted in the show, i could go on more abt the misogyny in hotd show and fandom but idk if anyone wants to read abt it 🤷🏻♀️ besides, she's not the only character butchered in this show, none of them escaped the awful writing and direction.
this fuckass sonic helmet 😭
hbo pls, let this man say a few words in high valyrian in some episode of akotsk. anything, pls 😭😭😭😭 do god’s work.
i want to share something. i use tumblr and twitter to post and follow content about the targaryen universe (and a bunch of other things, games, etc.), and i think it’s so funny how different it is to post here versus posting on twitter (even though i don’t really post on twitter—my account has literally 0 following and 0 followers and is private—but if you want to be moots there, feel free to follow me, my user is ragenyra).
the hotd fandom over there is kind of funny. They can be annoying, but sometimes absolute gems come out of it. like a brazilian tb girl who, during an argument, used the phrase "we, targaryens," and to this day that screenshot still circulates in the brazilian fandom. or recently a brazilian tg calling George R. R. Martin "impartial" with tg 😭😭
i think these fights are really funny sometimes, but other times ppl completely lose it and say really awful things to each other 🤷🏻♀️ so far, here it feels way more chill. i compare akotsk characters with tb and tg characters and no one complains or anything—everyone just laughs together. but over there… damn. If u compare someone or even mention rhaenyra in something related to akotsk, tg gets mad (for some reason). and the same thing happens the other way around. ppl can’t have fun without fighting; it really feels like political arguments about dragons. i feel like im at a family barbecue 😭
they both were fighting their demons (their crazy siblings).
a knight of the seven kingdoms? no, the knight of the seven facecards.

he was 16–17 years old and was having a beef with a 9 year old kid. boo, you loser — leave that little guy alone!!!!

i came up with some new headcanons about movie!michael afton, but i confess laziness won out over the desire to create a fully worked-out aesthetic. so, pls accept this slightly chaotic venting!
Important Warning: This text deals with sensitive topics like depression, fetishes (nothing involving body fluids, i promise – but i respect if that's your thing 🤷🏻♀️), and subjects considered edgy. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHILE READING MY THINGS!!!
Michael was undoubtedly an edgy kid. His childhood was steeped in viscerally violent horror films—I imagine something like Evil Dead could have been his favorite. He was a connoisseur of extreme cinema and, with the help of piracy, amassed a veritable dark archive on his computer: snuff films, gore compilations, and other genre nastiness, which he probably shared on some obscure blog (hes name on the blog was probably inspired on foxy, his favorite animatronic);
This relentless search for increasingly heavy content was, in fact, an addiction. It all started with aggressive music, moved on to films that staged violence, and before he knew it, he was already immersed in deep web forums, consuming videos of real accidents and crimes. He grew up as a teenager with total freedom on the internet, without a father or mother figure to set limits. Over time, as happens with many addicts in this universe, his sensitivity to horror atrophied;
Now, stepping away from that macabre sphere, I imagine Michael as the kind of man who has a particular taste for biting. And not gentle, playful nips just meant to leave a red mark—these are bites that seek to draw blood. Intimate relations with him tend toward violence: squeezes here, bites there, ending with both partners completely marked up and red. He's not someone with frequent sexual impulses, but when it happens, he makes sure to leave traces that last a very, very long time;
Like every troubled teenager, Michael also went through a phase of challenging his parents. One time, at seventeen—skinny, pale, with long hair—when he got tickets to a rock concert he desperately wanted to see. That day, he painted his face, lined his eyes, creating makeup inspired by the singer. It was an artistic expression. Returning home, with the makeup smudged from the concert's energy, he was intercepted by William. The fight was ugly: his father called him a "fag," found the whole expression pathetic. And from then on, Michael never dared to be artistic with his own body again;
In childhood, Michael wasn't beaten frequently. William Afton, far from being an exemplary father, simply didn't see him as important enough to even dedicate physical aggression to him. Sometimes, Michael even wished to be punished that way, because he saw William grabbing Vanessa by the arm during reprimands—something he never did with him. With Michael, the violence was purely verbal. Perhaps that's why, as an adult, he so enjoys being hit by his partner during intimacy, just as he enjoys hitting. It's as if, in his mind, that is the language that confirms he is truly being seen—the same one his father used with his sister, whom he always declared was his favorite;
Michael hates pizza. The mere smell makes him nauseous. After his mother's death, William rarely bothered to cook, and pizza became the family's default meal until Vanessa took over the kitchen. This partly explains his scrawny physique as a teenager and his not very robust build in adulthood: often, he preferred to fast rather than face another slice;
I also don't believe he's a fan of sweets. Maybe he just doesn't see the appeal in overly sugary flavors;
His favorite food? Instant noodles. I mean, not out of refined taste, but because, living alone, he likely survives on that, with occasional culinary escapes. His diet is notoriously irregular—in fact, it's why I imagine him having a tendency toward anemia.

I've been thinking a lot about Jossam lately, totally obsessed, and I've come up with some headcanons!
• Josh is a film enthusiast, and this is clear as a crystal. Just like that fact, he loves Sam. They say every artist has their muse, their inspiration—and for some, it's distant people, historical figures, or even actors or musicians. Josh is no different; he has his muse, and luckily for him, it's his sister’s best friend.
• Josh is an artist. He loves working on small film projects to tell little stories he's written. Of course, he always finds a way to get his friends involved, whether it’s Jess playing a Carrie remake or Emily as a masked killer... But none of them came close to being in as many projects as Sam. Josh always put Samantha Giddings in his films. She was always the lead, the final girl, the one who gets the guy at the end, the princess, the superhero—because that’s who she was and always had been to him, the protagonist of his life.
• Sam loved being part of those amateur films. She always thought Josh's artistic vision was beautiful, even if that wasn’t the reason she kept doing it. She loved listening to him talk about his ideas, loved how focused he became, loved hearing him go into detail about every little thing he had in mind. His mind fascinated her. She was in love with everything he did, in love with him, which, on its own, made everything he had to offer—even the "little things"—feel magical.
• One time, a town fair caught Sam’s attention. It was an animation competition, and when she read about it in the paper, the first person who came to mind was Josh Washington. Well, she was the girl who did the drawings, but he was the guy who handled everything else. Maybe it was her way of trying to spend more time with him. Maybe that feeling made her call him and tell him about it, and maybe it was his own desire to spend more time with her that made him agree instantly.
• They didn’t win first place in the competition, instead placing third and getting a silly plastic trophy for both of them. Regardless of the result, they were happy. Spending that time together was probably what they needed to understand their feelings for each other—even if they hadn’t admitted them yet. Everything seemed to be falling into place... until the anniversary of the twins’ disappearance came around, and with that... well, you know the story.
