i haven't put enough thoughts together yet to figure out what it might mean, but there's gotta be something with the fact that lottie is the one we mostly see sewing and fixing the clothes, and because of all the furs she wears in s3 it's sort of assumed she made them and made some of the other new clothes we see people wearing, and yet, she hasn't tried to fix laura lee's dress. in s3 we see that it's falling apart, there's holes and tears on the skirt and the sleeves, but lottie just...hasn't fixed them
