*roams the mountains and forests with my fellow nymphs*
me vibrating and talking fast: i am so cute and i cannot die
my brain works like the spirit box from buzzfeed unsolved
mostly static, sometimes disembodied words like “pastry” and “crime”, leaves you guessing
“Trans women of color are kept safe until they’re not useful. They’ll pit us against each other. Like, you’re worthy until someone comes along that is doing it better or younger than you. I think there’s a lot of feelings of scarcity that brings out the worst in us, and we have to work on fighting against that. I make it very clear, especially in interviews and talking to people that, like, I am only here to support and love trans people.” - Cree Two-Spirit poet Arielle Twist

griffith observatory / hubble’s ultra deep field
the whole point of the Panini video and song is that Lil Nas X knows he’s everywhere now, and knows people are sick of him - but he also knows he’s special, and he just wants to entertain people, and if we just give him a chance, he’ll show us something beautiful.
when Skai finally stops running, he stops dancing, and switches the digital images from ads to a beautiful landscape
stop and listen. don’t let this creative, gay black kid be another one hit wonder.
if anyone’s gonna be like “uh the song panini isnt that deep”: in one of skai jackson’s videos (around 6:55) he litterally says that panini was based on this chowder character of the same name who loved the protag until he became popular. basically he’s saying that people will only love him when he’s underground and when he’s everywhere they’ll grow sick and tired of him
what’s that noise.
sounds like a bunch of rocks hitting each other
i’m going to check

“Crazy Dion” Diamond at one of his sit-ins as a teenager in Arlington, VA. June 10, 1960
via reddit
All of those people around him are demons
hey guys! here’s some fun things i learned from this article about Dion Diamond:
he did these sit-ins by himself. like idk about you, but i always thought of sit-ins as organized by groups, what kind of bravery does it take, man
he didn’t tell anyone about it, like he was no glory-seeker about this. his parents didn’t even know until reporters started calling them up like “hey, did you know your son is in jail?
when someone called the cops he’d skedaddle out the back door although he was sent to prison multiple times
the last time he got arrested was in Baton Rouge, and the cops were so sick of him that they told inmates they’d put in a good word for anyone who gave Diamond a hard time. (the inmates didn’t take the bait.)
he’s still alive!
hark, a hero of our times!
If I’m not mistaken, is the man directly staring at him the leader of the American Nazi Party, George Rockwell? Who is featured in this photo:
Yes, that’s him in the last picture. NPR did an article on Dion’s unheard activism and they included that picture.
I legit can’t find my glasses.
