I need some good recommendations for reading about David or X-Men. I've gotten a bit hooked on Magik recently, and of course I've already read famous comics like House of M. but I feel like I need more to understand this group.

David, in particular, is so good. I was charmed by him in Y.A. and went looking for more. This boy can be so messy and dysfunctional, I'm loving him more and more.

Heyyyyyy anyone else wanna talk about the fact that the reason Tommy has such good control over his powers and knows exactly what he can do with them right off the bat (phasing, explosions, etc) despite not having his powers for any longer than Billy has at that point is bc he was literally tortured into it. He knows what his abilities are bc there were people actively harming him in order to find that out. Anyone wanna talk about that or like are we being normal today haha

Eli deserves a solo I think. I've been thinking about this recently but even putting aside how badly he was treated by the fandom he has good connections that are relatively self-contained and lend themselves perfectly to a series centering him!!! I think it could be a really interesting thing to do in the right writer's hands.

Honestly I go on and on about wanting a David solo but the next Young Avenger to get a solo SHOULD be Eli imo
