Okay the contribution is not short off £2000 but that's not bad at all. Especially if you can get the funding. The expeditions are for research into climate change at one of earths most fragile habitats that's melting away like an ice lolly on a hot day. That would make good dissertation data collecting wouldn't it!

Hurricane Sandy is wrecking the east coast of America as i write this...

220 years to the day of the hanging of the three captured mutineers at Portsmouth; Burkitt, Ellison and Milward, the replica ship of the ship they mutineed against has now sank off North Carolina.

What a few months it has been and how sad i was to leave Cyprus after such an enjoyable summer there! I had adapted to the climate, got to know the area and made many friends. Plus i was enjoying life some wear its easy and enjoyable to be active, because the weather is so great!

Hopefully the photo uploads will reflect my summer of conservation, so look out for a mix of conservation, historical and travel related photos that i am adding to the website most days!
