literally freaking out cos words cannot accurately describe my beliefs

wanting to sit in an open field with people in silence until they understand where im coming from

i guess maybe its time to rebrand? my pfp is a doodle from about ten years ago intended for the highschool teachers who would misgender me but i fear it may be offensive to people who mistakenly take it personally...

also the whole "unfiltered piss bucket" thing was an inside joke with an old friend i dont talk to anymore but it just meant in comparison to my other more aesthetic blogs, i dont organize this one or schedule my posts...

id like to have a space on the internet where i remain vaguely anonymous but if i have to show more of who i am to be understood, i think im down. people seem to have heard very little from me and assumed a lot about who i am and what i believe but often its far from the truth

i genuinely have big dreams for the world to be a better, more accepting, more accessible, and beautiful place that appreciates people and nature. i also may sound very emo at times, please bare with me.

anyway this is not some major thesis or something, i just want my blog to continue to be a place where i and others can enjoy a lil time on the internet, feel entertained, and feel represented. im sorry if any of my inquisitions or ideas have made folks uncomfortable. im trying to be a better listener and i tend to think out loud

i dont really consider myself progressive but im definitely not a bigot... i do play devil's advocate at times but i leave space to learn. mind you, my convos in comments often lead me to reconsider my positions but if i feel strongly about something, i'll voice it 🤷‍♂️ my actions irl speak to my beliefs

it’s kind of insane how much you watch star trek run into the same brick wall over and over again with the klingons because they’ll do a good interesting episode regarding klingon society and then they’ll be like btw they’re like this because of BIOLOGY and you’re like ok man. you ruined it

I can't remember who first told me about Swanson's, but they're a textile thrift shop that collects and repurposes donations of unused sewing supplies. Their physical location, The Stash House, offers community sewing resources and a studio. For non-locals (such as myself), their online shop offers fabrics, patterns, and notions. The shop restocks on Thursdays, and they have a constantly-rotating collection of items. If you like thrifting secondhand craft materials, Swanson's is for you!

Swanson’s Fabrics and notions are gifts from retired sewing stashes. They are the fabrics and supplies that sewers and fiber-artists naturally accumulate. I had a suspicion that the reason we all collect so much is that we didn’t have a place “good enough” to take it. So I made the place. I get most of mine at Scrap in Ann Arbor (they also sell some items online) and New City Sewing Center in St. Louis.
