Tonight, a titanic hole was left in the world. Lemmy Kilmister, the physical embodiment of Rock n’ Roll, died from a bout with cancer as aggressive as would be expected of a lifestyle as insane as his finally catching up to him. Lemmy was a great musician and a hell of a guy, and Motorhead stayed strong right until the end. He was at least able to get one more album out before he finally gave up the ghost. The world is less whole now, but at least Oderus and Dio have a bassist for their superband in Hell.

2015 just wouldn’t go quietly. Here’s to a better 2016. Rest in Peace, you iron horse. We’ll meet again soon enough.
