Eardrummmings this week is filled with shiny new stuff  ✨ 🎺 ✨

In New Orleans, hundreds of people are trying pick up the pieces after a tornado touched down in New Orleans East on Tuesday. We don't normally get those down there, and we don't take natural disasters lightly after Hurricane Katrina made her mark years ago. I'm hoping that New Orleans gets the long-term help it needs, help that was sorely lacking post-Katrina due to an administration that didn't pay enough attention to an historic city that was literally drowning. If you want to help the tornado victims, I suggest either donating to the American Red Cross, the Greater New Orleans Foundation, or Second Harvest.

On a lighter note, Mardi Gras is right around the corner, which means that this playlist is full of great jazz, zydeco and some of the best sets of pipes New Orleans has to offer. That's me in the picture about to cry over a gorgeous king cake my mom sent me. ✨ 💜 🎺  💚  🎷 💛 ✨
