I love the fact that the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie is displayed in French as “yeah these two fucked for a while, then decided to team up”. Truly the loveliest example of interpretation going wrong on the level of “19 inches of Venom”.

Fun fact: the one with the shovel is the harvesting of “fleur de sel”. I don’t know what it’s called in English, but it consists of the dregs of salt that form at the edge of salt flats. It creates incredibly fine and delicate crystals that are then sprinkled over food for taste. The South of France has a high concentration of these such flats, like the ones near Aigues-Mortes. They’re rosy with the salt content, and go on for ages.

Reminds me of the time me and my mother floated two large gingerbread houses down the river, as a way to say goodbye. I was quite attached to them, so I was a bit less so by giving them a proper send off.

Hello. This is a very quick poll, as I don’t have a whole lot of time until Mother gets home and I’ll have to wait until she leaves tomorrow to do this. There is a barber shop near me, and I have the cash to go. I have had multiple panic attacks about my hair length; but people around me desperately want me to keep it long because they find it beautiful. I’ve only ever gotten compliments from other people (that aren’t my family) on my physical appearance, other than my eyes, while having shorter hair, because I feel more confident and happy that way.

Should I get my hair cut?

All right so I’m carelessly looking at hair styles for thin hair, gaily prancing through the realm of ignorance, enjoying the gossamer wings that are made by my blindfold as it trails behind me, and my peace and innocence is horribly shattered; defaced and violated, ruined and perverted, by the most ungodly sight I have subjected my eyes to. I cannot stress my suffering enough: this thing was fully and truly against whatever a man might dream up as holy. There are gods and there are things that should never have been turned eye upon, doors that never should be opened or unlocked, holes that should not be explored, skies that should not be gazed into.
