I’m currently reading Naruto Retsuden and I got to the part where Hinata kept a treasure box and among her precious things was Neji’s old training diary where he wrote accurate records of his training (obviously) but what really hit me was the part where he wrote about how his “present goal was to get rid of Tenten’s depression.” and I’m literally crying yall I need to go back to my happy place and read wholesome nejiten fanfiction bc I was NOT ready for that 🤧

Because people sometimes get shirty about this, stepping in real quick:

1. Yes, this happened. International airline departure lounges are their own magical, liminal space.

2. No, we were not being cruel to a mother for no reason. We literally all sat there and watched/listened to her telling her daughter that she only packed movies she assumed her son would like because she was “more mature” and she (the mother) had made assumptions about what he liked to watch. The girl was on the verge of tears when the singalong broke out. She was being punished for being female and we were having none of it.

3. Yes, we stopped singing when we boarded the plane. We’re not MONSTERS.
