In Tbilisi, Georgia in the former Soviet publishing house a squad of young talented people opened a concept store called âChaosâ. The store serves its clientele not only as a place where they can dress but it also is a spot for modern and urban culture, interesting exhibitions and a place for hanging out.
On the September 27, a Berlin-based Georgian photographer George Nebieridze introduced a book named â15. The book launch was followed by an exhibition of photographic light boxes.Â
Throughout the year, Georgeâs retrospective works showcased all events and occasions he encountered. He expressed his works through the year 2015 in Berlin and exposed them for the greater society in native Georgia. The limited selection of photographs and lightboxes harmonized with the space in bringing out details, colors, and different shapes of the images. Ultimately, creating a pleasant and somehow mystic space and relation between the pieces and its viewers.
The book is rich with visual beauty, changing colors, switching emotions and opposite moods exquisitely harmonizing with each other. While flipping through the book, it will take you on an experience that is like watching a movie, a series of continuous sequence that has a beginning, development, and end. In the midst of it all, you will also encounter some photographs that are not necessarily connected. The abnormal and disorientated photographs are abstract vignettes that are laid out in a way unique manner, so and such that it allows viewers to immerse themselves in Georgeâs experiences and become a part of his story visually as he initially intended.
Truly, the content of the book includes many of Georgeâs joyous discoveries from his everyday life. It allows viewers and readers to appreciate people and situations that we come across each day, either wishing we met these people earlier in our lives or in some cases, oppose uncanny situations.
Behind every photograph has its unwritten story, giving the opportunity for all kinds of interpretations and perceptions. Appreciably, the book is filled with beautiful photographs of cars, streets, capturing the heart of Berlin and its unordinary human beings and yet, strangely enough, sexual liberation, acceptance and lastly, fragments of Georgeâs experiences that are peculiar and down to earth. But what gives 15Ⲡitâs specialty, is the ingenuity, relatability, honesty, pure and wholesome joy.
The book is available for purchase at chaos concept store in Tbilisi, Georgia and online.

Iâm sure everyone has read a poem or two; if not by choice, then by obligation (curse those boring language classes!). Some may be in love with it, while others  may not even understand the obscure metaphors that many poems have. But did you know that there is a form of poetry that requires no reading or writing whatsoever?
Sarah Kay is the founder and co-director of Project V.O.I.C.E., an organization created to encourage the use of spoken word poetry to entertain, educate, and inspire. She writes musicals, makes short films, and teaches literature, but is most known for her spoken word poetry.
For Sarah, spoken word isnât simply the reading of a poem. It is the expression of words that âdoesnât just want to sit on paper, but something that demands it be heard out loudâ.
When Sarah was 14, she became interested in the idea of spoken word poetry. She was fascinated by how poetry was not only read, but performed. After her first performance in high school, she became addicted to spoken word; loving the idea of creating something that could reach everyone in the audience and move them.
Unlike written poetry, the audience need not look for the poem, interpret its meaning, or even read. Spoken word creates the opportunity to tell your story in a way that will speak to people of all ages. To add to that, spoken word poetry often uses language that we use in daily life. So no need to twist your brain trying to think of what that phrase means while simultaneously trying to keep up with the poem.
If youâre interested in Sarahâs work or spoken word in general, you can watch her Ted Talk or visit her website to check out more.

Kardelenâs pieces are decorated with melancholic city colors and subtle patterns. The garments remind the observers that the beauty can be discovered in amazing ways and at least expected things. Read on to find out more.Â
Kardelen Erçelik is a young fashion designer living in Milan, originally from Turkey. She explores the chaotic, unsystematic, inharmonious and dirty city and translates it into clothing. She uses concrete, decayed grass, plastic and spoiled city colors to express the imperfect beauty. Following the ideology of âAnarchitectureâ by architect Gordon Matta-Clark, who focuses on the transformation of abandoned buildings by splitting and cutting them apart, Kardelen is trying to revive Clarkâs concept. She tries to do so by exposing the reality behind the clothes. Through artificial textures like macramĂŠ, it allows the body to be seen without gender specification. Imperfection in Fashion is something Kardelen Erçelik, a young Turkish designer, represents with her first solo collection.
Since her days of childhood, Kardelen was involved in painting, ceramic art and handcrafting. She always knew that her place was in art. Choosing fashion design as her profession came later when she decided to try herself in the unconstrained field of fashion. Kardelen interned with Iris Van Herpen and worked at Krizia as a personal assistant to the creative director Violaine Cambon.
There is rebellion in Kardelenâs creations. The idea of imperfection is a key in her designs. By exposing the true identity of everything and refusing to accept fake ââperfectionâ, this fashion designer manages to create contemporary clothing for strong, self-confident women. Her vision is most likely to be shared by people who want to stray away from the ââclichesââ of our times

Vegan food is no longer just about fruit and vegetables. So many realistic new creations have been invented since to mimic the non-vegan foods most people love. So whether youâre a chef, a health nut, or simply a foodie interested in food trends, read on to find out about the top 7 trending vegan foods that you should try.
1. Nice cream
Also called ânana ice creamâ, nice cream is vegan ice cream made from a base of frozen bananas. Even if you may not love bananas, nice cream can have a variety of flavors, just like regular ice cream, though most simply combine different fruits to get a fresh tropical treat.
2. Fake bacon
This dish may make even the most open-minded foodie wary, but I promise you, good fake bacon totally trumps real bacon. Keep in mind that fake meats or dairy products can be a hit or miss â some succeed in imitating texture, flavor, and even smell, while others just donât get it at all. So donât swear off fake bacon if your first try was awful. Chances are youâll have a great second try.
3. Acai bowls
This treat has been on foodie must-try lists for a while now. So many health bars and juice bars have adopted this tasty bowl for those drooling after the delicious variations on Instagram. Not only is it packed with vitamins and minerals from the fruits, it is full of superfoods that give you extra immunity and energy boosts.Â
4. Tofu
I guess technically this foodâs been around for a while now, but the growth of the vegan community put it back on the map with many experiments and discoveries on tofu making its way to menus and Instagram flatlays. Baked tofu, grilled tofu, steamed tofu, scrambled tofu (an imitation of scrambled eggs), you name it, they got it.
5. Nut cheese
This may sound like another one of those dodgy vegan foods that the skeptics love to bash but keep in mind that even though these inventions are called âcheesesâ, they are merely imitations and therefore should not be expected to taste exactly the same. Some nut cheeses may require an acquired taste, but a good cheese (especially a specialized one, like parmesan or mozzarella) should taste similar to the real deal. Of course, these are multitudes healthier than the dairy version, since they are full of proteins and healthy fats that will keep you full for a long time.
6. Zoodles
If youâre a healthy foodie, you should know about this one already. Zoodles, or zucchini noodles, are ânoodlesâ made from spiraled zucchini. They are usually eaten raw with Asian sauces and toppings, though of course there are many other variations. A newer variation of zoodles is coodles, or spiraled carrot noodles. This one definitely does not taste like real noodles, but theyâre a fun alternative to plain wheat or egg noodles.
7. Aquafaba
Last but not least, aquafaba is the water from soaking chickpeas or other beans. The water from a can of chickpeas or other beans are also considered such. This bean juice is what some call âmiracle waterâ because it acts as the perfect egg replacer in baking, allowing for the creation of treats like macarons and meringues.Â
These foods above may not all be your thing, but I bet that every reader will have at least one that they will end up loving. So take a risk and give it a try! Who knows, maybe youâll end up loving all of them!

Summer is the best season for cold, non-alcoholic drinks. By mixing fruits, juices, ice and some magic, you can taste unique flavors from interesting recipes around the world.
Eastern European âKompotâ
Kompot is a fruit punch popular in Easter European countries like Poland, Russia, Georgia, and Ukraine. It is a non-alcoholic drink made from simmered fruit, water and sugar. The recipe originated from the 15th century and is refreshing and sweet. Choose any fruit you like for your Kompot; be it apple, cherries, strawberries, blueberries, plums, apricot, peach, or anything you prefer. Here is the recipe:
Take 1 pound of fruit, 4 quarts of water and 1 cup of sugar. Boil all the ingredients together for 15 minutes and cool them afterwards. You can either freeze it in the refrigerator or serve it with ice and some fruit in each glass.
Watermelon âAgua frescaâ
If you are a watermelon lover then this refreshing drink is for you. Â Watermelon âAgua frescaâ is one of the most famous drinks in Latin America. Try it now!
You will need 2 pounds seedless watermelon, one cup of cold water, 2 teaspoons of lime juice and 1 tablespoon simple syrup.
For the simple syrup: Mix Âź cup water with Âź cup sugar. Boil it over medium-low heat and simmer, without stirring, until all sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, add 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs Let it seep for 15 minutes before adding to the mixture.
Another summer drink easily prepared is âMint Lemon-Limeade.â The origins of the drink come from Israel and are tailored for people who love sour flavors. This drink is called the sunshine in a glass and here is why:
Squeeze lemons and limes to make 1 cup of strained juice. Then make a simple syrup the same way as explained above. While the sugar dissolves, add ice, squeezed lemon and lime juice, and several sprigs of mint in your pitcher.
Pour the simple syrup and dilute with water, stir and garnish with extra mint. When youâre done, expose your chilled drink to the sun to let some sunshine in.
âGinger Switchelâ
Switchel, an old- fashioned refresher, is still one of the best loved drinks in US. The drink dates back to the early American colonies and is known as the Haymakerâs Punch, having served to quench farmersâ thirst during the hay harvest, in the 19th century.
The recipe is composed of cider vinegar and ground ginger. It is very easy to prepare and here is how:
Take 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 4 teaspoons sweetener (molasses, maple syrup, honey, sugar) Âź teaspoon ground ginger and 1 cup of water. Combine all the ingredients in a jar, cover it and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and as long as one day.
Pour over ice or mix with soda water, shake it and drink.

Lessons Young Creatives Can Learn from La Nouvelle Vague
La Nouvelle Vague or the French New Wave was a movement that revolutionized French cinema during the late 1950s and 1960s. One may be thinking, whatâs so new about it? How does it still speak to the youth of today? You might be surprised to know that its message to the youth back then still resonates with the young creatives today.
Be Innovative
The movement was born out of the frustrations of young filmmakers who longed to create movies but had no financing from established studios. They found the movies of their time redundant and in need of a fresh look. These upcoming filmmakers wanted to create content that evoked the essence of their youth. New wave films are known for their unique filming styles that included jump cuts, which emphasized the âshow donât tellâ message to their audiences, and unconventional camera movements that blurred the lines between art and reality. This was achieved by filming with hand held cameras and using natural lighting alone, creating a faux sense of reality and intertwining the real world with the art created in the film. According to these filmmakers, what is the point in saying anything if you donât have anything new to say? As a result, they sought new methods and techniques to convey their own youthful experiences for they saw that traditional and established techniques were inadequate in capturing the youth of their time.
Be Limitless & Resourceful
The pioneers of La Nouvelle Vague were far from veterans in the film industry. They often lacked financial support from large studios but this didnât stop them from creating content. Instead they made good use of what they had, foregoing large expensive sets in favor of real locations (often prohibited), filmed with lightweight cameras along with small crews and casting mostly unknown actors and actresses. Jean-Luc Godard is famously known for filming without a script and favored improvisation during filming.
A great example of this can be seen in his famous work âĂ bout de souffle" or âBreathlessâ where it encompassed the sense of âbeing in the momentâ. New Wave films became iconic for their simple yet engaging aesthetic when it came to story telling, providing their audiences with a more engaging viewing experience. The New Wave movement was about capturing the essence of youth. Godard himself said that âI donât think cinema influences youth, we should instead let youth influence cinema to hold on to our desire.â What La Nouvelle Vague teaches us is to not let the idea of being âyoung and inexperiencedâ overtake our desire to create and pursue various endeavors, but instead let it be the driving force behind your passions and dreams in order to make it a reality.
Be Passionate
Contrary to popular belief, experience isnât everything. When it comes to creating content, one must be passionate and think out of the box. Sticking to established rules sometimes impedes personal growth and creative progress. La Nouvelle Vague is a great example of this. Prior to its conception, up and coming filmmakers felt that the French cinema scene was filled with overused themes and was in need of a makeover to appeal to the interests of the younger generation.
In fact, the most famous filmmakers of this movement which included Jean-Luc Godard, Claude Chabrol and François Truffaut all started out as film critics before they gifted their thoughts and ideas onto the big screen. The French New Wave was about movies made by cinephiles themselves, those who had deep interest and passion for the art form. They broke the mold and ended up creating a new movement of their own, something we can still learn from; for those looking at a new possible creative endeavor look beyond established methods and try to think of ways it can be done differently.
In addition, let your inexperience encourage you to test new waters and brave challenges ahead instead of shying away from it. With the prominence of social media and its essence of âcreating and sharingâ content, itâs easy to feel swept away and one may find it difficult to establish oneâs own identity. But as long as your innovative spirit and passion for creativity is alive, youâll be able to find your own voice in a sea of many.
If youâd like to know more about the La Nouvelle Vague, the following films are highly recommended: ĂÂ Bout De Souffle, Hiroshima Mon Amour and Les Quatre Cents Coups.

Summer is finally here and the sunny beaches and azure seas are waiting for their visitors. The only concern before heading to your vacation destination are the swimsuits. Here are some trendy beachwear suggestions to choose from for summer 2016.
#1 Single piece
This yearâs biggest swimsuit trend is the very customizable one piece. Picking bold prints and bright colors will make your tanned body look fabulous. You can opt to show more skin with a side cutout, low back or lace-up neckline on your swimsuit. If you want to bring happy vibes to your beach outwear, try checking out the striped marine maillot. If you plan on attending beach parties or summer music festivals, psychedelic designs on your single piece with a pair of jeans shorts would be the perfect go-to outfit.
#2 High waist Retro
A high waist retro bikini will never go out of style. It was popular then and is still popular now. Retro styles include sheer edgings, high-waisted bottoms and halter tops. Retro designs like neon or floral will give you a 70âs glam. If you want to look âcoquetteâ then the retro swimsuit is for you.
#3 Metallic
Shine bright at the beach in your Metallic swimsuit! By wearing metallic gold or silver swimwear you will turn heads wherever you walk. Metallic suits can also come with amusing prints and go perfectly with all kinds of bottoms.
#4 Long sleeves
If you get sunburned easily, are into surfing or are just looking for a more covered up swimsuit, there is a trendy solution for you! Swimsuits with long-sleeves are one of 2016âs most popular trends. You can choose from a single or two piece; either with the cropped or just a regular top. This kind of swimwear looks gorgeous with laced up plunging neckline. Donât be afraid to experiment with colors and prints!
#5 Low waist bikini
Want to make a splash at a pool party? Go for a low waist bikini two piece with pretty ruffle top. If ruffles look great on a blouse, then why not on a swimsuit? Plus they add more volume, creating the illusion of curves. Dressed in the ruffle top and low waist bikini you will look cute and sexy at the same time. Try to match the two pieces and pick a trendy color like peach pink, seafoam green or cyan blue.

Find yourself looking for something fun to do this summer other than tanning on the beach? Well youâve come to the right place. Here are 5 adrenaline-inducing outdoor activities you can do to spice up your holiday.
1. Bungee jumping
Bored with the typical outbound games? Go bungee jumping! There are many places that offer bungee jumping services nowadays, especially now that ecotourism has soared in popularity. If youâre not ready to take the leap of faith off a cliff, you can do one of the many variations: the trampoline, catapult, or SCAD diving, where you jump without a wire from a height, falling into a net instead.
2. Horseback riding
This is obviously for the animal lovers; this activity can be done on the beach, in an arena, or just around a park. This choice is more flexible and can adapt to your riding skills and confidence; you can simply walk around enjoying the moment or vault and jump around an obstacle course. Additionally, you can be assisted by professional for all you first-timers.
3. Rafting
Whitewater rafting is a fun activity that you can enjoy with friends. This activity involves navigating through rough river systems. There is definitely a chance for you to fall or for the raft to capsize, but the equipment, outfit, and raft leaders are there to make sure youâre as safe as can be. If youâre still worried, you can start off by going on a Class 1 river, which is considered the mildest river with very small rough areas.
4. Paragliding
Ever wished you could fly? Well, with a glider you can! Harnessed below the wing with (or without) a pilot to navigate your flight, you can lift off from a height and enjoy the view as you glide down to your designated landing spot. This is the most thrilling activity!
5. Trekking
Probably the most common outdoor activity in this list, trekking can be considered prolonged hiking to a natural environment that will usually involve camping. It is a great way to reconnect with nature and do some easy traveling, as long as youâre well-prepared and know your own physical capabilities.
We hope these 5 adrenaline-inducing outdoor activities will be exhilarating for you all.
Kanken backpacks can go with all the summer outfits. Your rucksacks are ready for being packed for summer adventures.
Summer is here and it is time to fill your wardrobe with new clothes. Are you ready to wear some cool âvetementsâ? See whatâs trendy for summer 2016 and prepare yourself for pleasant shopping.
Underwear can be achieved as an outwear item. It is the latest trend of the fashion industry.  Saint Laurent, Pucci, Rochas and Celine all introduced slip dresses on their SS 2016 shows. Have you ever thought of putting on a t-shirt under a slip dress?Â
Take a simple t-shirt of one color and put a silk or transparent linen slip dress over. Now you are free to wear your lingerie outside of your bed and look sexy!Â
The style setters have also given a newer purpose for the swimming suit piece (like the body suit piece). It can be styled with a plain tee and a pair of jeans. This will accentuate the silhouette of your body and even so, you may not need your bra.
For those who are still not fans of dressing gowns and swimsuits for the casual outfit look, it may take a while to instill these ideas and one question we always stumble across is -Â How can I pull this off?Â
It can take off after being inspired by celebrity styles, especially those who are obsessed with lace-up bodysuits. Some perfect examples are - Kendall Jenner and Lilly Aldridge. These ladies were spotted wearing lace-up bodysuits while out, so why should not you?
Colorful t-shirts with statement making inscriptions are the most beloved trend of 2016. âVetementsâ brought 90âs back. This summerâs clothes can be unique for you if dressed in âVetements.â Floral dresses, branded t-shirts, over-sized blazers and toxic green skirts is all you can wear!
Another key trend this summer is a gingham check or shadow stripe loose trousers with lace-up ballet flats. This outfit will make you look fab!
Kanken bags can go with all the outfits and are ready to be packed for summer adventures.

I donât mean to sound like a click-bait article, but this is the one trick that changed the way I spent money for good. It's not part of your common thought process, but once you think about it, it's pretty intuitively obvious. So what'll help you save money?
Simply, not spending.Â
Which is to say, you're only saving money if you spend less on what you were actually going to buy anyway. Going out of your way to spend on something unnecessary simply because it's on sale or you can get a better deal is NOT saving.Â
In the end, you lose more money than you would have. I know that one-time-only deals sound unmissable, but consider both the pro's and cons of your purchase.Â
Do you really need it? Are you really saving, or are you just spending?
If you keep this in mind every time you see a deal shouted at you, or you feel the need to splurge, you'll realize that saving isn't about opportune spending. It's about spending less than you would have anyway.
