Trauma didn't make me nice, I consciously made me nice because I don't want anyone else to suffer like I did. Trauma didn't make me strong, I made me strong. Don't you dare ever tell me my trauma made me anything but scared, broken, and confused. Don't give credit to the abusers for me being a good person. They didn't make me good, I made myself good.
This will always be my favorite gifset. Ever.
im morally obligated to reblog this every time i see it
I WOULD PAY TEN TIMES AS MUCH FOR CHOCOLATE IF IT MEANT REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF SLAVES IN THE WORLD? HOW IS THIS ANY KIND OF PROBLEM.
good news, you can! the company’s called Tony’s Chocolonely and their entire purpose is to make slave-free chocolate and reform the chocolate industry.

Whole Foods carries it. If you don’t want to support an Amazon-owned company, World Market carries it. You can also buy it directly from the company.
It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever had and it’s 100% slave free. Tony’s Chocolonely works really hard to push for transparency within the chocolate industry and actually has and is following an action plan to eliminate slavery within cocoa production. They’re good people who make good chocolate.

Unfortunately Tony’s Chocolonely has been removed from the list due to a collaboration with Barry Callebaut’s (who were named alongside Nestle in the 2021 Supreme Court Case)
It’s more that they’ve been removed from the list, I’m not making any comments on whether it’s correct or not but something to keep in mind.

There’s a fair bit more from both Barry Callebaut and Tony’s Chcolonely on this mess available online.

I’ve done something.. a little weird
seeing the fandoms people write fics for is honestly more concerning than the fact you made this.

remember when Britney Spears dropped the Da Vinci code on all of us almost 8 years ago… the time she sneaked “F-U-C-K ME” into the radio

Whether it be Serena Williams, Meghan thee Stallion, or former first lady Michelle Obama some of y'all can't let black women be feminine or even women. It's so frustrating, even transphobic to invalidate a women's femininity whether she born into that or transitioned that way. I'm tired. The amount of jokes I have seen about these women being men for years now, or masculizing and dehumanizing them is disgusting. There has been a history of constantly degrading black women whether it be for their skin color or their feminine features. Even when comes to little girls it is shown that black girls cared for less or nurtured less compared to white counterparts. Black women end up either being sexualized at a younger age and even compared to men or dehumanize when they get older.
Good for her.
Look at their faces! 🤣🤣🤣
