Today is shaping up to be a VERY good day

Got up fairly early, cooked and ate a DELICIOUS breakfast, went to the playground, watched the clouds for a bit, played on the swings, and that’s all before noon!!

Later today my friend is coming over to watch one of my favorite movies with me (which she’s never seen, so I get to show it to her!!) and I’m gonna make us carbonara for lunch!!

There are popsicles in the freezer and apple juice and strawberry lemonade in the fridge, there’s a comfy bench in the backyard and things I want to draw in my sketchbook, I’m wearing a cute dress and my favorite hat and I smell like sunscreen! And tomorrow I’m hanging out with my childhood best friend, and at the end of the month me and a bunch of my favorite people are having a Sharknado movie marathon!!

I MADE IT IN UNDER THE WIRE, IT’S STILL THE 20TH WHERE I LIVE!!!

Today marks one year since @idkwatthehec and I published the first chapter of our crossover fic, Turnabout Civil War!! I’d like to take this moment to say a HUGE thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has read, commented on, bookmarked, or left kudos on this story—you’ve all been the most engaged reader base I’ve ever had the pleasure of writing for, and it’s been a blast seeing all of your reactions, theories, and kind words!! I’m so glad you’re all enjoying this story, and I hope you’ll continue loving everything else we have in store for you!!

As of right now, chapter five is nearly complete and mostly in the hands of our beta readers, and we’ve been chipping away at chapter six as well!! We’ve also begun working on the second fic in the Turnabout Marvel series, and while I won’t give away too much here, I will say that we’re both very excited to write it and hope you’re just as excited to read it 👀

Also, shoutout to @helpilostmygender for serving as our beta despite knowing hilariously little about the MCU, accepting their fate as the wall I throw my spaghetti at when I’m coming up with ideas, and being an overall wonderful cheerleader and partner! Love you babe, and thank you for tolerating my odd-hour spam when I have ideas even when you have no clue what the fuck I’m on about.
