A Susie and Kris WIP that I've been working on for like a month and a half

I feel so close yet so far to grasping a lot of core concepts that I think will help me EVENTUALLY speed up the process

I love Glitch giving us new Murder Drones content and stuff (shorts, merch etc), but a big part of me feels kinda sour about the amount of content we're getting that won't sum up to anything significant other than character development we should have gotten IN THE ACTUAL SHOW. And also just merch that feels not as genuine when it's plugged to a show that won't be getting continued ever

I know that this isn't what the team intends when they do this but a big part of me feels like the fandom is having salt rubbed on it's wounds

The Murder Drones we love so much is so good but it's also so flawed, and when it did have the opportunity to be re-written (in the comics) it got even worse in basically every way (though the artwork is extremely good, basically everything else is lackluster)

Idk, I know that I take things in this fandom too seriously sometimes but it's genuinely a very personal thing for me and seeing it be left behind without it's full potential being reached + small crumbs of content being given out for the pure purpose of plugging merch is very painful

Just want to clarify that I don't have any problem with Glitch plugging merch since I know very well that as an indie company it's virtually their only dependable source of income, my problem is them only fleshing out and giving development to characters after the show is already over and after we already know we won't get to see them be redeemed, AND plugging merch on top.

It's like "Hey! Yknow that wasted character you wished had a fleshed out character arc in the actual show she was featured in? Well we made her a 8 minute long prequel special but.. SURPRISE! It's actually a merch drop!"

I understand it would be a dick move to continue on with the show without Liam Vickers (I and many other fans would be against this decision for obvious reasons) and this isn't any sort of criticism to Glitch itself, more of a rant than anything.

I mean in the real world I wouldn't care, lock that boy up, he's a genocidal murderer but in the sphere of influence that the show is trying to present

its not even about punishment, N being separated from Uzi was GOOD STORYTELLING POTENTIAL and yes it indeed paid off, so he served his nickel. I'm satisfied XD

I feel like I struggled a bit more with Noelle than Berdly but omg she's such a fucking sweetheart! After i crafted her face i was like MUSS PROTECC!

Some lore for the newly established Soul Siphon AU

During DR run 1 she doesn't really have too much of a relationship with the Soul Borne save for what will likely be discovered in canon later chapters

But in DR run 2, she is ACUTELY acquainted with the Soul Borne and due to the more front facing role of the Soul. She discovers ALOT about it. And at some point earnestly believes that the Snow grave Route is leading to a better outcome. After all, learning about the loss the Soul had experienced in UT is very familiar to her finding Dess, and she admits if she was as powerful as the Soul shed probably be doing the same.

And thus actually builds a strong relationship with Kris and Susie but unfortunately when an "even worse" tradegy occurs. That's the catalyst for Kris and the Soul to finally come together in DR run 3 and subvert the prophecy. Without using Noelle as a weapon of mass destruction.
