page 595 top - I suppose blobs of slush can be many sizes, but these are like salad plates, although longer and taller. Like milky cabochons, smooth except where something from the overhang has fallen to pockmark the surface. Stray twigs and wet snow leave craters on the surfaces that glide past.
page 595 top - Do people know that blobs of slush can form in a river, then drift across a surface so silky and black that it isn't there. Or if it is, it is the sky below as the sky above.

If video review is wrong is that, game is wrong?
Game is good. One team wins, one team loses and someone is always upset and that is good and healthy and normal. I am ignoring draws of course, because those are gross. It is life to be mad at unjust decisions but you will be okay if you know life is hard, sports are hard, and sometimes you die in war or old or because there were no antibiotics. If you participate in the disappointment of existence in the small way maybe you don't go home and murder family. It prepares you for your mother's death.
Video review is people losing their stamina for disappointment. Video review will set all to right and keep you safe. Dispose of your resilience because you are safe here. Exhaust yourself for capitalism because its rules are good and must be enforced. Police CCTV will make sure!

You are trapped by the lie of the future where we can live forever and make no mistakes and feel unsad on the long journey to get there. You are not a forever machine and are meant to err and forget.

You are enforcing rules from a different dimension. There's not good in that. Is horse airborne when it is running or is one foot always on the ground? Invent a camera to find out if you must but who cares. Horse works fine without a camera. Better question is how to spell Eadweard.
Why have we stopped time? So we can pretend ourselves gods, free of time, of biology, of all human connection now and forever. We will die lonelier for it.

But when it is a cheat! You can't let that moment pass or the game is ruined.
Why is this moment? A moment plucked from a sequence of hurly burly grubby and sweaty moments and bodies engaged in struggle, stretching back to the puck drop or the kick tip or the off off or very first tweet of a whistle. And back again to last season's bitter defeat and back again to when your adversary dated your girl in college and back again to the 1970s when a rich slum lord, high and cocained thought 3 points all at once are good! Why is the moment so special? Because a coach had 10 seconds on the side line to flag at the referee? Seems rushed for truthtelling.
Remove the moment from its life and it dies. Video review says mistakes can be fixed. But to do that we must stop the bodies, grubby and sweaty and beautiful and so much rubbing, stop the creation, the game they are birthing. Their humanity is debased; COWER BEFORE THE PANOPTICEYE AND KNOW YOU ARE LESS THAN MACHINE. Less than the system, maybe a part of it if lucky, but subservient.

It seems rules eat you. Why do rules occupy your heart and ideas?
Rules are magical, the border. On this side is everyday life, but through the rules the game begins. They are a fence from where strategy, performance and cultural meaning hang. Without rules there is no tension in what is played, only blob. The rule book is a holy one and lets us know how the angels and demons will meet in battle.

Everything pretends perfection. Politician can't say, my ideas are okay and some of your taxes will still be wasted or stolen, maybe by me, but I think overall I am good enough. Capitalism can't say, we are a great system whose purest and most profitable form just happens to involve slavery.
Video review can't say, I will keep you warm and safe, swaddled baby on mother's breast if mother's breast was rules. But also, I degrade your life and ability to exist as a living plastic animal who can tolerate and grow from experience. You may learn which fingertip last touch, but your life narrows and brittles. Video review corrupts our perception?
Video review damages how we perceive our own perception. Slowed, repeating, from every point of view, it is not natural. It suggests that God view, all seeing all knowing all perfect, is what we need. It tells us that how we just saw is flawed and desperate for mechanical assistance. Our experience of sport was once an emotional cauldron where senses fed heart instantaneously, but it becomes brittle and sad as non human actors interfere. Maybe robot should just kick ball.

Isn't it good to call right? There is so much money on line, and we have technology. Surely it's best to correct.
Is the review always right? It is not. It claims perfection and although it is very slowed and from many directions a person still makes the decision and so on. The review is dancing on a slanted roof from the beginning. It is better to accept fallibility in the real world than to corrupt our perception in video realms.
