And even now my heart hurts talking about it, what happened that night is inhuman. No matter their sexual orientation no one ever deserve that, yesterday many people lost friend or a relative. #Repost @j.incandescence ・・・ Trans kids have a massively high rate of suicide, with it being over 40%, due to the hatred and abuse they face as well as feeling they aren't accepted on a very regular basis. With the recent passing of #HB2 here in North Carolina, it will only make things worse for trans individuals. They need to know that they are loved and supported no matter what their gender identity is, not only today on #TransDayofVisibility but every day. Trans people, you be you! Don't let anyone dissuade you from identifying as who you are. Cisgender people (anyone identifying with the gender they were assigned at birth), you need to step up and stand up from trans people.
