She was quiet as she listened to him, no- she couldn't believe that. Ostara knew how deeply those two loved each other. He was starting to unravel, and she wondered if this had something to do with that old fraud.

"Doesn't matter why you got together with her back then. I know she loves you, that you love her."

Her voice was soft and gentle.

"Sweeney, I know you wouldn't..."

"Oooo please tell me why it was always your favorite- I'd love to know."

She took a step up even closer to him, her free hand settled on his shoulder. Ostara waited with anticipation.

     “Good, I’m glad you know that,” He replied, the smile still on his face. He looked down to her hand before grabbing it and holding it with his good hand. “Nothing too exciting, just working. How about you?”

When he gently took her hand, the smile grew wider on her delicate features. She could never resist his touch- either fleeting or lingering.

“You work too hard, my love. And   the same thing I always do: bring the spring and ready for it’s arrival when it’s not yet here.”

Tyr bent down a little, just so he was on her level. "Oh good, it'd be awkward if I wasn't."

She said nothing else when he got closer, she just kissed him sweetly.

Easter turned then motioned for him to come down more to her level since he was so much taller than her. 

“Good thing you’re the love of my life too.”

He smiled as she kissed him. He was just really happy she loved it. "Of course." Tyr took the necklace and gently put it on her. "I'm glad you like it."

   She did her best to gather her hair, and pull it aside to make it easier for him to put the necklace on. When he finished, she leaned back into him, then looked up at him once more.

“Thank you- I love it. I appreciate that  you never miss my day.”

"For you, my love." Tyr said as he handed her a bouquet of beautiful flowers along with a jewelry gift box.

“Tyr, these are stunning. Thank you. Although  you’re the only gift I need.”

Her smile beamed and her whole aura and energy radiant as a result of the worship on her day. After she took a moment to breathe in the gentle scent of the flowers, she carefully opened the box to look at the necklace that he gave her. She looked up at him, then stretched up a high as she could to kiss his cheek.

 “I love this-”  She took a moment to carefully put the flowers down on the table for a moment before she  took it out of the box.  “Help me put it on, won’t you, Sugar?

  Julian nodded in response to her first question. He still wasn’t sure if Klaus was his friend, considering Julian never had a friend before. But he was also one of the few to make Julian feel welcome with his new fond ancestry. That’s what friends do right? And that’s why Julian decided to come to this party or whatever because normally Julian wouldn’t go to these kinds of gatherings.

  Crowds and Julian don’t mix well together but Klaus had convinced him to go, saying that it was her day. Whatever that means. But none the less he was just trying to keep to himself which was hard to do since the hostess was currently talking to him. “Julian.”

“What a pleasure to meet you, Julian. Veronica   and Klaus have spoken very highly of you.”

She could tell he was uncomfortable- which reminded her of dear Henry in. These parties weren’t exactly his cup of tea either. Perhaps a change of scenery - to a less crowded area would suit him better.

“While your companions are busy, why don’t you humour me with a little wander? I can introduce you to a Jesus who has a tiny dinosaur.”

  Sweeney twitched as she patted his arm, opening his eyes once more. “Ya don’t understand…” He paused, trying to pull himself together but he was obviously failing due to his tone of voice and just overall state of mind. “’m a bad man. A piece of shit who deserves everythin’ bad tha’s happened in me life. Tenfold… Never shoulda married ‘er.”

When she realized that he wasn’t about to get up, she very carefully sat down next to him. The way he was talking- she was worried about him. He never spoke like this- something awful must’ve happened.

“You want to tell me what happened? Did you two have a fight?”

      Tyr smiled as he looked at her. He was just so in love with Ostara and he could never fully express it. Whenever he tried he sounded like a bumbling idiot. “Yeah? Well, I vow from now on that I won’t miss another.”

She rested her hand gently on his arm.

“But since I have you here, and you  have my undivided attention- please  tell me what you have been up to.”

  Whenever Czernobog would take his sisters to Easter’s party, he would go off by himself. But this time was different, the leprechaun’s youngest dragged Czernobog‘s ‘son’ to this party. Just what he needed. Not only was he forced to be here but now he had to deal with this. So after having watched them for a bit, he left the house and went to the back where Easter’s garden was.

  He pulled out a cigarette and slipped it between his lips. Once it was lit, he exhaled the smoke. The black god still refused to have anything to do this his so-called son. With that thought he took another drag angerly, that’s when he heard a noise behind him. He didn’t need to look to see who it was, he already knew. “My sister’s not here.”

“Oh, I know.”

She came around and sat down on the other end of the bench he was on. By now, she was used to him excusing himself from the festivities inside. But something about him was heavier than usual. Something had ruffled his feathers- so to speak.

“I just wanted to say- I do appreciate you not smoking inside. I know this isn’t exactly your idea of a good time. But I’m glad you come and join us, instead of just staying out in your truck the whole time.”

  “Everything alright?” Bragi knew he shouldn’t have asked Ostara, she was clearly pissed off about something. But she was also, at this point in life, like a sister in law and he cared for her. “Want me to go hit someone?”

Ostara took a deeeeeeep breath in and the slowly breathed out. Sure she was beaming with power from the worship- but the second he left, that’s when she found out what he had did. 

“Then when he left I found out that  two bit con artist killed half a dozen of  my damn rabbits!”
