Hello! I wanted to say I really love your Ikanaide Bingqiu video. I found it when I first read the series in Fall 2023, and I still like to rewatch it to relax. The scene of Binghe arriving at Shen Qingqiu’s room at Jin Lan city with a serene smile on his face is probably my favorite scene. Thank you for giving me the experience of seeing SVSSS in a beautiful 2d anime style.

Thank you for your kind words on the art style! it's pretty informative for me hearing how others perceive that, and its entirely dependent on whether they're anime watchers or not. cn viewers saw this mv as "disney-like" or compared it to scissor seven (which i haven't seen) while eng viewers see it as more anime-esque. not to generalize all of them, but those were the comments i saw most often. i do take inspirations from both, so it's still a big compliment to me! so depending on the viewer, ikanaide bingqiu can be either anime, western cartoon, or the nonexistent 2d donghua which, in the spirit of airplane shooting towards the sky, fits quite well haha. i'm happy to have made your day even a tad brighter, anon!

actually years ago, one of the most out of pocket comment was from my storyboard teacher, who said my art style looked like daria?? which i have never watched in my life. but i am a fan of mission hill, so maybe i kinda do see the influence.

Heyy thanks!! Glad you found me 💕 I mainly use Adobe since that's kinda all I know to use (Animate, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) but there are definitely much better and cheaper (and free) programs out there. A dear friend recently gifted me Clip Studio Paint and I'm excited to try out its animation feature, especially since there's a lot more fun brushes to use! My go to for animating is a vector hard round with zero pressure brush since it's easy and faster to paint bucket it for color
