Night of the Comet (1984) -- A comet collides with the Earth, leaving only a few survivors, including a pair of Valley girls. This satirical science-fiction film follows the girls as they embark on a massive, post-apocalyptic shopping spree, enjoying their new freedom -- that is, until the zombies start showing up.
One of my favorite Christmas movies. Goofy fun.

I love this scene, it reminds me of Carnival of Souls.
Ostensibly a film about a film, Noroi screens the last film made by documentarian Masafumi Kobayashi before the fire that lead to his wife’s death and his own disappearance. Making his living as a paranormal investigator, Kobayashi susses out strange happenings all over Japan for his In Search Of-style documentaries. Kobayashi’s search for new material leads him to cross paths with Kana, a child psychic who materializes water on a reality show; Marika, an actress possessed during a TV ghost hunt; and Hori, a tinfoil-coated shut-in warning humanity of cosmic ectoplasmic worms. -- Cinapse
Fortunately, the special effects don't hurt Noroi nearly as much as some of Koji Shiraishi's other films (see Occult for a Koji Shiraishi film that should've made you feel uneasy, but instead, was just laughable thanks largely to poor special effects).
If you enjoyed Noroi, check out the Siren series of video games. They give off a similar creepy/weird vibe, though, they aren't the most fun to play, but the revelation in the first Siren is amazingly awesome.

Vampire's Secret popsicles were the raddest popsicles you could get in the early 90s. They weren't shaped like anything, nor did they have gumball eyes, but they did ooze red, cherry blood and have a vampire on the box.

The U.S. Army investigate a strange phenomena: a farm surrounded by a force field that has appeared in the middle of a desert, inhabited by old-fashioned farmers who have no idea they're being observed.
I swear, I have memories of watching Night Visions in mid to late 2000, but I guess my memory is incorrect, because IMDB lists it as having premiered in July of 2001. Regardless, this was a mildly entertaining horror anthology that didn't make a very big splash (probably, in part, because it was released at kind of a bad time). I've embedded arguably the most popular and well-remembered episode, "A View Through the Window", starring Bill Pullman.
You can watch the series here, though, my favorite episode ("Darkness") is missing the audio.
[A]n extremely rare television commercial for the original U.S. release of The Shining in the summer of 1980. This commercial is notable in that all of the footage used is from alternate takes not used in the finished film.
[In Versus], a brief prologue set 500 years previous sets the ball rolling, establishing the locale of the Forest of Resurrection as the 444th portal of the 666 gates that link to the Other Side. Two escaped convicts come head to head in a clearing with a carload of sharp-dressed yakuza and their female captive. The two factions snarl, spit, and square up to each other as the steadicam swirls around in ever decreasing circles before the bullets start to fly. However, the Forest of Resurrection isn't so named for nothing, and pissed-off yakuza don't stay dead for long. -- Midnight Eye.
This is the 2004 update of the 2000 Versus. Some additional scenes and special effects were added, music was changed, colors were corrected, et cetera. Unfortunately, this one isn't dubbed, but the vanilla version of Versus has a pretty hilarious English dub you can watch on YouTube.
I first saw this in 2004 amongst a slew of awful, Asian horror, and it wound up being one of the very few gems amongst all of the shit. It can get pretty goofy at times (there's a character who has knives hidden all over his body, though, he's still the coolest character in the film), but that helps the film more than it hinders it. One of the coolest aspects, which is only briefly touched upon in the film, is that this struggle is eternal. The characters are perpetually reincarnated in order to fight this battle, and which side is the "right" side isn't exactly made clear.
Returner is a decent science fiction equivalent if you're looking for more intense, goofy action but with a little more time travel and fewer ghouls.

Sweet Home follows the exploits of a group of people venturing to a deserted mansion to restore a priceless mural to its full splendor. Arriving at the site, they find that much of the house is covered in additional murals depicting hellish scenes of a mother losing her child in a blazing fire. When the restorer's daughter starts finding evidence that the mother and child from the paintings indeed once lived in the house, and the child's grave is discovered in the garden, evil forces are unleashed. Objects start moving seemingly by themselves and one by one the members of the team start dying gruesome deaths. -- Midnight Eye.
Directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, of the amazing Pulse and significantly less interesting Cure.
I'd also recommend checking out the video game that was released in conjunction with the film. It's a pretty great horror game.
