Also, the name "Hóng" was given to Sektor by @bihansthot , I payed my "Bi-han tax" in the post since it's about the cryomancer too.
And lastly, as english is not my first language (awkward moment, I know), I couldn't decide the pronouns for the puppy so you will see "it, he/she" sparingly.

To start off, their over all reaction is a mix between confused (konfused?) and surprised as fuck, but ultimately, they end up being delighted to have a new companion in their life!

In general, these men have had a number of experiences and they learned to adapt to almost anything, but to say that this situation caught them off guard would be an understatement.
So let's start with each one of them, shall we?
Sektor:
- As a Kharacter, we can say Sektor values loyalty very highly. He has a very structured mindset, so one day it looks like he’s playing with the dog and giving it treats, and in the other one, the dog is now giving him stuff he needs and retrieving things to it's owner, waiting for him and reacting to his signals.
That's when you realize “Oh…he was training he dog/puppy”.
But don't be mistaken!! He actually loves this new little friend very much! And will take good care of him/her. For example: Sektor works mostly with electric things and electronics, like computers and wires, but will always find a way to prevent the dog/puppy from hurting itself (or getting electrocuted).
I hc he loves making little gadgets for the puppy to play when he’s not at home. (I can imagine a toy that moves by itself and one of those machines that throws tennis balls and such!.)
Oh, and I’ll just add (If it wasn't obvious enough) that you shouldn't ever interrupt them while they are laying in the bed ir couch. Or else the puppy/dog will emit a not so friendly snarl at you (?).
Now, Here’s a little scene depicting the latter HC, hope you enjoy it! :
You were returning to your sanctuary called home, after one of the most exhausting days of the month...
The hours seemed infinite as you just wanted to lay whatever comfy place you could get to, and lay there, fried.
However, it seemed that you were out of luck. When you opened the lock from your own house’s door, you weren't even greeted by your little furry friend.
— How weird…— Your thought for a moment, before sighing. — I can guess where they are… —
You tried to open the door as carefully as you could, but it still creaked, provoking a not so friendly reaction from the little puppy you adopted and brought home. You didn't need to understand it's language to know it wasn't happy, greeting you between barks and snarls.
— Stop, [dog’s name]!! Don't talk like that to your mother!! —
You laughed faintly, with a mix of amusement and frustration.
— Yeah yeah, I know what to do… —
After going for a brief walk to the kitchen counter and coming back, your puppy greeted you wagging it's tail, as you gave him/her a treat.
— Oh, you are enabling him/her! —
The Lin Kuei told you in a loving manner, though he secretly loved being the chosen one…
— Well, I didn't have many options! — you laughed, amused — He/she gets all territorial, I still don't know why!. —
You chuckled a little as you climbed to the bed, the little puppy now at the end of the mattress, enjoying the treat you gave him/her earlier…
As you kissed your husband and placed yourself in his chest, he embraced you, now greeting you the way you deserved.
— It's good to have you here with us, dear…— Hóng caressed your back in small movements, relaxing and deliberate, as you breathed slowly.
— Thank you my love, today was so hard I couldn't wait to get home, really…— You let out a relaxed sigh, after talking again. — I’m glad he/she loves you so much, you two are doing a great job protecting our home…—
Hóng smiled as he heard your words, your voice tired, and your body now getting used to his warmth.
— Thank you, sweetheart…our little friend takes all the credit, however. —
You chuckled as you both observed the cute, yet feral creature fighting and chewing the little treat you gave it earlier…
The night with your little family had just started.

Bi-Han:
-Not gonna lie, he was a little bummed at first. But ironically, he “warmed up” to the little friend eventually!!.
-He was impressed/surprised about how “warm” the puppy/dog was. You explained to him that actually, they are warmer than humans in temperature, and they also regulate it differently.
-One time, Bi-Han noticed the dog/puppy was shaking from cold while being with him, so you made some little sweaters for him/her.
The cryomancer felt immensely guilty, so he bought some little blankets, so the puppy could be wrapped around them while being with him on the bed/couch. The small blankets are very warm and made of a synthetic material/fur.
-Over all…the dog/puppy will prefer him over you any time (?).
-I also hc that in summer, the puppy has a hard time since she/he got accustomed/used to be closer to Bi-Han.
“If I suffer with high temperatures, this little guy must be suffering twice as much.”
The cryomancer used to think this out loud, until he had the, dare I say, amazing idea to use his power/ability for a good cause (?). So they start playing with ice together!! Bi-han also puts some ice cubes in the puppy’s water bowl so it can refresh while drinking.
Here's a little scene with Bi-Han and some couch-time! :
The only thought on your mind while heading to your home was coming back…to your couch. The softness and warmth of it while drinking some black tea and reading a book was alluring as a plan, to say the least.
You were eager to start the night with that little ritual before Bi-Han came back.
What you didn't know, however…is that you were going to face some “minor setbacks”, let's say…
The moment you open the door, you get a familiar sight. Your husband, Bi-han, was laying on the couch with what looked like a “furry burrito”.
Your puppy was now wrapped around some blankets, in the comfiest way as it layed in the cryomancer ‘s chest.
Bi-Han lifted his finger to his lips, to signal that you both should stay silent. But you almost mess up, watching how your pawed friend had its tongue sticking out a little.
—He/she is so relaxed…— You covered your face, unable to take so much joy at once — He is holding it like I baby, I can't…! —
The man looked at you completely puzzled. But you didn't lose time in any kind of explanation, you made your way to the kitchen, putting the kettle on the process. You still needed that tea, and maybe Bi-Han wanted some snack too.
At that moment, you could hear the faint “Ow, ouch” noises coming from your husband, just to turn around and watch your dog’s face peeking through the backboard of the couch.
— Oh, so now you want food and forgot about me completely? Is that how it is? — He chuckled at that, while getting off the couch. A loud bark greeted you, while the cryomancer hugged you from behind — A smart one really, I would also leave me if there was food involved. —
— Oh, don't say that — You both kiss, and you give the treat to your beloved puppy — You looked like you were having a good time! I wasn't invited to the ‘couch party’, I see!.
—
— It wasn't as comfy as it looked like… — You rolled your eyes at his answer, sipping from the tea cup you just served.
—Well…at least we can take the bed now.” — You smiled while those words left your lips, savoring the tea, sprinkled with the illusion of resting in your bed, all three together.
— …And leave the dog outside. — Bi-Han retorted, adding a cheeky smile to that remark.
—Why are you so mean to him/her? Poor thing!. —
You both laughed as the puppy munched a little treat. Your home looked so peaceful and dream like right now …
You wished moments like this lasted forever…

Hey, how have you been? Sorry for the absence, life and some other stuff got in the way (I also started gaming a little again, so there’s that.).
I have been playing Mk9 with friends, and I must say they have helped me get inspired again and I’m still learning how to navigate my creativity for fun and not treating it as a chore.

Mortal Kombat Fanfic | “A Life with him”
Pairings: Kung Lao x reader (Y/N), afab reader. (I imagine he is the Kung Lao from either Mk9 or Shaolin Monks)

Your curves, all in the right places, never ceases to amaze him.

Guys!! Sorry for the absence! (Absence? Again?? (??), lol.). Life has been quite…hectic? Complicated? But yeah, you know…I missed you all, and I didn't want to put off or procrastinate my responsibilities anymore.
I know you’ve been waiting for the Kung Lao Nsft and that’s in the works! It's a W.I.P for now but if anything helps, I like how it's going!!
I also enjoyed drawing this so much! I used one of my most favourite metallic pencils (Yeah, yeah, I know, not many like them. I love them for drawing because they resemble graphite but with color and zero staining of the next page! So it's a win-win situation!!). And I cannot even tell you how good it felt, like meeting an old friend.
So…yeah. For anyone wondering what I did in all of this time, I was working, I watched “Enter the Dragon” (1973) from Bruce Lee, and I started learning mandarin! (I know mr. Lee spoke Cantonese, but it's hard to learn it since it's more of a spoken/oral language. I know Canto is vastly different from Mandarin, but I have to start somewhere really.
So what is Kung Lao saying?
He’s asking “你吃過了嗎??” (Nǐ chīguòle ma, in traditional chinese) roughly translated to “Have you eaten yet?” And yes. Your asian/Chinese F/O would totally ask you if you have eaten. It's not only about the food, they care about your safety, how you feel, and if you are happy and nurtured (and well fed, obviously).
And yes, he would take you out for dinner before even thinking about you slipping into his bed, he really cares about you!! We need more Kung Lao stuff/content guys!. It was because of him, and @mrstsung ‘s moral support that this blog even exists in the first place!!.

Mortal Kombat Headkanon | Lin Kuei and Hugs.
"How would they hug their s/o?"
Kuai Liang/Tundra: He gives the longest, most heart warming hugs (ironically). It will feel as if there was nothing that could ever separate you both.
When he holds you in his arms, he feels invincible, you don't know how powerful it makes him feel to have you in his life.
If you look at him with love and adoration, he will give you a kiss on the forehead while embracing you. You look so lovely, he never wants to let go…
Cyrax: He would hug you very, very tightly, then lift you, and spin you around. He’s just so happy to see you! Right? It doesn't matter if he saw you five minutes ago, if he went on a mission, or had just come from training. He will always be very intense when displaying affection and showing love to you, his one and only.
Smoke: His hugs are very manly, he would pat your back. But not because he sees you as “One of the boyz (™)” lol! (Or well, not the only reason, if you're into that kind of thing), it’s because patting is fun for him, actually.
With time though, he will warm up to you, and he will want to linger in that position, holding you in what feels like forever…will gradually get more and more intense as the time goes on.
Sektor: NGL, his hug game is kinda lackluster and low, to be brutally honest with you. At first he doesn't “hug” you per se. It's more like he “holds you in place” with his hands on your arms. He gets better the more you know each other, but he is very distant and hesitant at first.
Bi-Han/Sub-Zero: You go and hug him with all your love and might, but he…doesn’t hug back? He’s so shocked that he lifts his arms, but it feels like he cannot, for the life of him, reciprocate.
Please have patience and be kind to him! He’ll eventually warm up to you! (Yes, pun was very intended, lol.). I promise he will give you the most tender hugs (He will also squeeze you a little on occasion), it's just he is not used to it (yet, the keyword is “yet”.)
Hydro: He will hug you as if he was protecting you from some unknown danger (Very firmly, he will never want to let go of you.) He takes your safety very seriously, and has made it very clear that he would die for you (Yeah, he’s a drama queen to be honest). Not exactly a cryomancer, so he has no chill (yes, pun intended. (?))

An elegant, shadowy figure made its presence clear in the place, holding a lantern. He smiled knowingly, and gazed at the reddish tint the sky had taken at dusk, while the guards gathered around the sorcerer's discovery.
— It has begun —
And the exact same words would echo in his mind as he saw her in their shared bed. His beloved, perfect wife…
The first rays of sunshine peeked through the curtains playfully, as Shang opened them slightly. What a wonderful day they had to celebrate the day they met.
— Unless… —
The man pondered, raising an eyebrow at the thought, a crooked smile adorning his features, in a mischievous manner. His eyes squinted for a brief moment.
He knew she would probably not remember about today. Her obliviousness, however, wouldn't be a problem. It could only make the gift he had prepared for her, even more perfect.
A soft whimper interrupted his train of thought, the unending possibilities had him thrilled about how the rest of the day would unfold.
The older man knew exactly what to do next, eager to give her a taste of what would come…
He laid to her side, his bony, yet resistant hands caressed the woman in front of him, as he hid his nose on the crook of her neck, kissing her. Her scent…was maddening to him. How could he ever resist her? Her soft, sensual voice was present in every touch, igniting their shared passion.
What a dangerous game they were playing…she was at his mercy now, the master of gentle touch, doing his magic as the veins of his experienced hands popped slightly as he fondled her.
— Relax my darling, let me take care of you… —
Even if he didn't see her expression, he knew very well how his wife, his everything was probably blushing and smiling through pleasured, enthusiastic sighs.
To say the day has started well, would be an understatement

After a nice, long bath with some flower-scented salts, they resumed the lovely morning deciding on her clothes. A traditional hanfu, red and jade green with some gold details, as well as the lower part being pristine white.
Last but not least, her hair was adorned by an exquisite ornament. The hairpin had some flowers cascading in a pastel shade of red, surrounded by a golden snake that seemed to guard such delicate beauty.
The embellishment seemed to bring everything together.
— These are some of my favourites, what are we celebrating, my love…? —
The sudden question was met with an ambiguous chuckle from the feared sorcerer.
— Our love, my darling, is enough of a reason for us to celebrate —
— Hmm…trying to fool Lady Tsung…? — Her gaze softened, the shape of her almond eyes revealing her curiosity. A naughty, roguish smile peeking through her fan. — We shall see if you succeed… —
— A worthy challenge, I see… — His eyebrows raised at the incitement. He grinned before giving her beloved a chaste kiss — You will not be dissapointed, qīn ài de [darling] —
She fanned herself, unable to hide the effects of her husband's charm. He had a way with words, indeed. And no object could cover the natural blush on her cheeks.
A soft giggle escaped her lips, when that warm, familiar feeling greeted her again. She felt just like the first time they met…
The tall figure now leaving the room, his presence still lingering.
— Ahh, he always finds a way to get me. Not today, though… —
She shook her head while smiling, while accepting the challenge too. She would face some…setbacks, to say the least.

Sitting at the small tea table, Lady Tsung could see the sunset through a rounded, window-like opening in the wall. The orange and pink shades washed over her, filling her with a sense of nostalgia…
Everything looked beautiful, ethereal. Almost too perfect of a day to be true. What was it…?
— There's nothing suspicious, I don't know what Shang is planning…maybe he's asking forgiveness for something he did? Or maybe he is just in a romantic mood? Hmm…—
Her mind was contemplating many variables, options, and situations, while her husband's tall, elegant figure stood near the door.
Coming closer to the small table, he placed the cups and served tea. When she perceived the exquisite blend of rose tea, and saw he was serving himself green tea in the Assassin's teapot, she knew there was something else…
—Have I forgotten something important, my love? Our anniversary, your birthday?...something? —
Shang chuckled at his wife’s preoccupied look. But didn't want her to hold on to the ominous weight on her chest, let alone start feeding an insecurity and let it grow into anxiety.
—There’s something I would like to give you at the beach, if you agree…—
Those words wouldn't linger for long. She accepted, as they headed to the beach. The wind accompanied her figure, and even if it wasn't the best place to wear a hanfu, the scenery was lovely…
— This is the place where we met, and where we took each other's heart and soul…—
The sorcerer started his discourse, as the beautiful lady by his side covered her face, suddenly realizing what he was referring to.
— Of course, today is the day we met each other…—
However, she tried to hold back her tears, she didn't want to ruin this perfect moment.
— It's okay my dear…— The sorcerer calmed her, while embracing her. Then, he took something out of his pocket. —I want you to have this—
It was a small hourglass, but this one was completely full. And it had a drawing engraved on the metal part. Two snakes with their tales intertwining, doing the infinite symbol with their tails.
—This hourglass was filled with sand from the exact spot where you came from, and it's completely full, so the sand will never fall, even being in a vertical position, do you know why? — he inquired, waiting for an answer for some moments. — It’s because, even if ‘eternity’ is an understatement for my love, it describes how we have all the time to enjoy it together, and will continue to do it endlessly…—
—Shang…! — the lady was deeply moved, she took the small gift in her hands as she embraced her husband. He kissed her forehead and wiped the tears in her cheeks with his thumb, looking at her. Deeply in love, just like the first day…
— Is there anything else you would like to do to end this perfect day, darling? —
— I know exactly what we can do… — She smiled in a mischievous way, puzzling her husband for a moment.

— What can I say, I’m good at this game…— The sorcerer answered nonchalantly, looking at his own nails, smiling playfully.
— Ugh, you’ll see!! — Lady Tsung rolled her eyes, then chuckled.
The laughs echoed in the room, where there would be many precious moments between them. The small hourglass was now placed at the fireplace, ready to witness the life of the eternal lovers for the first time…
