My favorite byler evidence will always be this airport scene because there’s no other logical explanation as to why mike was being so fucking weird other than him just being flat out jealous.

he asked about the painting immediately after he gave will a half ass hug, he didn’t even pretend like he was actually interested in the painting because he was already under the impression that Will was possibly drawing something for a girl.

mike simply asked because he wanted to see if will was going to admit that the painting was for a girl or for him. either way, its pretty fucking gay if you ask me. i actually would’ve liked to see mike’s reaction if will said the painting was for a girl, he probably would’ve threw a whole gay tantrum in the middle of the airport.

even if he wasn’t jealous or he forgot about what el said about will’s painting in her letter to him, why would u hug your best friend of 10 years like that? but you can easily hug literally ANYBODY ELSE in the show with no problem. even HOPPER! like hopper? micheal wheeler, you’re gay.
