No, actually. Frank wouldn't, at this point in their relationship, encourage Matt to kill someone. I get why they did it and that they wanted that dialogue, but while Matt would step in front of the gun and Frank would want to kill him he wouldn't encourage Matt to do it himself. It's a disservice to his character to think otherwise. In this point in time, he greatly respects Matt. Does he agree with his methods? Hell no. But there's a big difference between that and encouraging him to take a life. We're past that.

I am still not over how Matt screamed at Frank to shut up and he just did??? Immediately??? And just waited for Matt to speak before saying anything??? That was weirdly obedient of him, especially because they were in the middle of a fight.
