Omg, okay explanation time. 

On the 28th of April, 2011, Ed Balls got a Twitter account. He decided (as most people under the spotlight do) to attempted to look up his own name. However, all he did was tweet “Ed Balls”. This, for some reason, got retweeted by THOUSANDS of people. On a global scale. And because he didn’t know you could delete a tweet it stayed. Every year since then,the 28th of April is Ed Balls day.

Plus Size Sewing Pattern Database

I've seen some people on here express interest in making their own clothes, and I recently discovered this database for plus size/size inclusive sewing patterns and wanted to share.

All of the patterns/brands on the list accommodate at least a 60 inch hip measurement, though the actual size ranges and other measurements vary, and there’s even a search function that allows you to plug in your own measurements (both imperial and metric) and find brands that can fit them. The site also does a monthly pattern roundup sharing specific patterns that meet the sizing criteria, which I think is neat.

A lot of these *do* tend to max out around the 60-65 inch range, so it's not the most inclusive for superfats, but it's still waaaaay more inclusive than the big-brand sewing pattern companies tend to be.

Not only that, they have more cargo space for mail, have a larger front front windshield so they'll be able to see better as they drive, and they're electric!

Plus, you know how old the previous trucks were? Half of em didn't have A/C.

I'm glad they're investing in the postal service, especially considering they've been trying to nerf it for years now and pushing us to use private delivery companies that are worse and for-profit.

Thanks to @livenarrator for picking out the fabrics with me AND helping with the very tedious prep work at the start. (I hate ironing SO MUCH).

I bought the pattern off Etsy months and months ago and today I finally finished making it! I am definitely not making another quilt any time soon; I am a very impatient person and much prefer smaller projects that can be done in a month or less. That being said, I did want to show it off a bit because it turned out WAAAAY better than I expected to!

Right now, many people in the fandom and beyond are at a special Dra---n A-e Veil--ard gameplay preview where these many people are being allowed to play the game early and are being shown a lot of exclusive content that they will then come back to the internet and put all over it on September 19th, so it seems that SEPTEMBER 19th is the actual date when people, if they were truly avoiding spo-lers about the game, should genuinely go off the internet entirely, or stop going on social media websites. it sounds like the information is going to be way too much than it already is (and it already is A LOT, take my word for it). I'm not tagging this post because I would like people to be informed.

Hey guys!

My team is currently working on an education campaign, trying to get money for school supplies for 21 indigenous children in Peru!

The school semester for them is March-December, and the goal is to give these children tools they need to succeed academically.

They already started, but have no pencils, pens, or supplies to do homework. Due to Covid, the families are unable to afford anything besides basic necessities.

Any help would be useful!
