I have a headcanon that Mai likes doing origami when she's tired of her knives for the day, and Azula keeps every single paper gift she's been given. Mai doesn't know that, of course. <3

I hate those fics where fire nation loves zuko but hates azula for some reason. Like hello to them she was a war hero, who valiantly fought on the front lines and captured the uncapturable. Meanwhile Zuko got banished for three years came back a hero then betrayed the nation again. AND sided with the avatar who took out their current leader. Like yeah we the audience know they suck but 100 years of brainwashing isnt going to disappear over night. The Fire Nation is a strong stands above the rest civilization. It sucks dont get me wrong but that mindset won’t just go away because Zuko got elected. And before someone’s like OH THE SCAR THEYD FEEL BAD or whatever this makes little sense to me but it doesn’t seem to be common knowledge if you remember in season one the guards on ZUKOS OWN SHIP didn’t know how he got it. I personally think it would make sense for it to be common knowledge because of the audience but oh well. ANYWHO regardless even if they DID know people getting burned is probably a regular day occurrence for the people esp with there no tolerance for any bullshit policies. So even then I don’t think that would sway any opinions.

Oh and as for the Agni Kai with Azula I think a lot of people would question it because he walked away with a burn scar and Azula was suspiciously wet after it. So there’s probably conspiracies and shit that he used Katara to win the battle. Anyways I literally cringe so hard when people say that because logically it makes no sense and I’d much rather read a fic where Zuko has to struggle which leads him to learn how to be a good leader. (Or maybe let’s not make the 16 year old fire lord… Iroh wtf) And again forces him to confront his relationship with Azula and ending their arc with her own redemption and the fire nation embracing him finally as if he taught them AND her what he learned on his journey is a far more compelling narrative to me than him having a cheap cop out just saying.

She has an 'anonymous' client who insists on having Queen Bee x Ladybug fanart because 'they are the most compatible ship compared to Ladybug and that lousy cat!'
