Between trapezes

The authentic Christian life is a life between trapezes. God gives you a job, a lover, a friend, a place to live and you swing awhile. And then God swings you a new trapeze. We all perceive change as loss but Jesus says TRUST ME. And the only way I can grab the next trapeze is to let go of the one I'm on and be in midair for a while.

Yes, I most certainly am real. Been thinking about a return to this old blog of mine. Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve been gone for 18 months.

Dear followers:

Thank you for making my 3 years on tumblr so enjoyable.  :)

I find myself in a new season of life where God has swung me a new trapeze and I must move on. 

I want to thank those of you who have sent me sweet messages. They mean so much to me! Many of you requested that I not delete my blog right now but put it "on hold" instead.  I do not anticipate returning to tumblr so at some point in the near future I will delete Between Trapezes. 

I am leaving all my social media platforms and will not be checking in. 

I want to give a special shoutout to my favorite bloggers whom I shall miss greatly:

We have a reason to celebrate life every single day because the God we serve is alive. His resurrection power didn’t end on the cross 2000 years ago; His power is still at work today. Not only did He resurrect Jesus from the dead, but He wants to extend His resurrection power into every single area of your life, too.

Maybe you have a dream to get out of debt, pay off your house or be free from a burden of lack, but it looks impossible. Business is slow. The economy is down. You’ve gone as far as your education allows. But God is saying, “I’m not limited by those things. I’ve got resurrection power. I can give you one break that will thrust you to a new level. I can open up doors that no man can shut. I can bring talent out of you that you didn’t know you had. I can cause people to go out of their way to want to be good to you for no reason.”

Today, get your hopes up. Get your expectancy up. Remember, He is risen, and He is alive. There’s a shift coming, and He is faithful to His Word. Let His resurrection power flow in every area of your life!
