I love how realistically supportive Chloe is of Max’s art. 

She doesn’t tell her something unrealistic like “You’ll certainly win.” Instead, she clarifies that even if Max isn’t accepted, it’s just a part of the artistic process.

If Max wants to make art for others, something she creates will eventually be rejected. That doesn’t mean she should never put herself out there, because if she doesn’t, she’ll never get accepted.

As someone who enjoys writing, I like Chloe’s advice here. She’s realistic with Max but not discouraging. I think hearing someone say, “You may fail, but that’s okay. You’ll have other chances.” is far more reassuring than “Don’t worry. Of course you’ll be accepted!

I think the best thing that I could somehow do, and, hopefully, add some value, is make stuff where we ask relevant questions and we can show people different perspectives.
