hiii! so i've been stalking your tumblr because i've seen you help anons find shikatema fics they've forgotten, so now i'm shooting my shot.

can you please help me find this fic? from what i remember, ino told shikamaru that she wanted to have a baby, so she convinced both him and choji to get to work with their wives. karui got pregnant first, then temari, while ino had a hard time conceiving. she started feeling a little jealous because everyone around her was having babies except her.

when ino finally got pregnant, i think she had complications (way too early to give birth ig?) and ended up giving birth through a c-section. afterward, she felt like her body had failed her because both temari and karui had normal deliveries without complications.

i also remember a scene where temari visited ino with baby shikadai. seeing how naturally temari adjusted to motherhood made ino feel even worse. she couldn't breastfeed inojin and ended up breaking down. later, temari told sai about what happened, and sai suggested that ino keep some distance from temari for the time being so she could focus on healing emotionally.

that's pretty much all i can remember. 😭 does this ring a bell?
