I built this cosplay about 1 1/2 yrs ago. It is the T.A.R.D.I.S. personified Victorian style. It is one of my favorites and I love wearing it and had a blast building it. Enjoy.

Hi! I just put out a call on my own Tumblr looking for plus-sized cosplayers to interview for an article for Ravishly. Would love a signal boost/reblog if you don't mind? Thanks!

Hiya, I'm TcatMcgee and I'm pretty new to the cosplay scene (please be my friend). I love what this blog is doing and I just wanted to submit literally the only photo of myself in any of my cosplay that I have. Thank you guys for the inspiration and motivation, keep it up! ^^

This was my first time cosplaying! I made the dress, apron and vorpal blade from scratch. It was this wonderful page that gave me the confidence to cosplay. I always thought I was 'too fat', but everyone on here looks so amazing! I got a great response, and can't wait to cosplay again. I'm hooked. Thanks, effyeahplussizecosplay!

My gender bend of obi wan. Cosplay custom made by Skycreation on Etsy, check them out, for those of us gals who don't know how to sew, but want a nice cosplay for an affordable price.
My first cosplay as Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket.
My name is Raye-Alvi and being a plus size gal (UK size 22 at the time of this photo), makes me feel like I'm not allowed to do cosplays I love. May 2015, I changed my views and gave it a shot! And I had the best damn time ever! And no-one actually said ANYTHING about my size! I kept being called cute and what not :)
Photographer is by my best friend Allie, who took this on my phone.
Another of me, Raye-Alvi, as Taiga Aisaka from ToraDora!
I had always had confidence issues with wanting to cosplay this character, as someone that doesn't like me cosplayed her and the person is pretty thin etc.
But I gave myself a kick up the butt and did it! And I felt so confident and cute! I had sooooo many photos taken of me :)
Photographer, again my best friend Allie who took this on my phone.
I never do this but I just wanted to say, I'm glad I found your blog. As a plus size cosplayer myself I find myself discourage by my own body size, seeing as most people who cosplay tend to have a good body for their characters. However, looking at this blog reminded me of why I fell in love with cosplaying. Thank you.
This is the exact reason this blog exists!
Hi! Would you be willing to make an anouncement to your followers that my account @strange-it-is-to-be is accepting submissions for photos of body positivity? Those who submit will be given full credit. It would be so helpful if you could help me out! Thank you for your time
Hello, I’ve been away from this blog for a while so I don’t know if this message is still valid. Please let me know if you still need the share.
Me (as Bellatrix Lestrange) with Medusa. My friends and I had decided last year to have a Harry Potter Halloween party. We assigned costumes ahead of time so that no one would duplicate them. I got Bellatrix and decided to go all out. It was my first cosplay ever and I had a blast doing it. My friend encouraged me to wear it to Wizard World Louisville and even though I was a little self conscious I'm glad I did it.
