I love some of the saying’s from Winnie The Pooh! Totally applicable to adult life, I’m not real sure I haven’t gotten there yet. I guess it’s good I have a good sense of humor! (Or at least rediscovering it!). Ok it doesn’t hurt that I know tomorrow is my second day off in a row and that has not happened in over 4 years! It doesn’t hurt I know my own children, and some new situationally-blessed lifelong friends, are in the next room and under the same roof! I feel I have always had a better grasp of sculpting my physical body than my emotional or mental aspect of who I am or am not. I feel I am beginning to understand how to open the doors to the other aspects of Me to be polished up and allowed to shine! Now the real work begins! Now this is not just some bullshit post, THERE IS A POINT! I work in fitness, obviously! I work with people every day on their journey in fitness. No physical steps taken towards a better physical body will EVER REMAIN LONG-term, unless you also know how to tweak and sculpt and cultivate your inner-fitness! Not just the outer fitness! It will be a very long arduous journey if you are only trying to improve your physical/outer fitness. And, All for Not! Ultimately your fighting a clock not ticking in your direction, cause we naturally age. If you don’t fix inside, you will die chasing a perfect body! Trying to get back in the swing of things. getting it in with Cooper at @nfntransformations, all the while Eric Northington @northingtonfitnessandnutrition trying to make us look bad Training that back! Got in the little chest and tries, lots of volume, low rest, keeping the heart rate up! This was the end of our work out, and as you can see with the bad form, I’m tired! OK, couldn’t help but notice my classes today full and live with energy! Everyone was excited today at Orangetheory fitness Red Mountain and Dana Park locations! Of course I’m happy to see the enthusiasm on this lovely Monday! How many of you came in from guilt today because of the amount of Cadbury eggs yesterday? (If you freeze them they are even MORE amazing by the way!). That begs the question though, what about the rest of the week? I would LOVE to see the same attendance Tuesday thru Friday as well!
