I hate how misinformation spreads so much if it SOUNDS right. Asian lady beetles ARE ladybugs. Both them and seven spot lady beetles are ladybugs, neither are native to the us, there isn't ample evidence that they are invasive though (as of last I looked into it). Native ladybug populations are being damaged more by pesticide use than by competitors. I think this tidbit of misinformation might come from the uk where I THINK the seven spot lady beetle is native and the asian lady beetle is invasive. But nonetheless, they are both ladybugs.

Would it kill you guys to check the inaturalist for your area before you parrot stupid things?

has anyone ever considered the fact that mickey got no sleep because of all the events of epic mickey and then he had to go back home in the daytime and look his wife in the eyes and tell her what just happened to him. "hiya minnie! i just met my long lost half brother and saved a world full of our coworkers we used to love but have forgotten!" sleep deprived and all?!?! so sorry mickey, this conversation would not go well.
