Boooks!  I swear, this month I was devouring them like Girl Scout Cookies...  I’m rather proud of myself, bringing the total back up to pace. It was down to the wire, too. I finished book 36 a mere two hours before midnight on the 31st!

I kind of fell in to a paranormal romance series, if you can’t tell. I actually really dig the universe Showalter has built for her stories, even if they’re pretty standard romances. Along with two other books I’ve read since the first of April, I’ve finished all of the ones she’s written in this universe so far. I’m not sure yet if I’m going to start another of her series or move on to something different. I do know that payday means I’m buying C. Gockel’s latest I Bring the Fire novel. Other than that, I’m up in the air.

I'm off pace... *sigh*  Probably had to do with the fact that I worked a lot more last month. In any case, the list:

I can't wait for the release of IBTF 6.  And I've found, after reading Lady Falls that I absolutely will not read any more Victorian romance. Ick. (That may have been a factor on my pacing, also, since it took me 4 days to get through it.)

150 Books in 365 Days Update

Usually, I see this challenge as 50/365, but I’m such a voracious reader, I’d blow through that in less than 6 months. So, being the overachiever that I am, I’m shooting for 150. My personal goal is to keep my re-reads under 30. But they will happen since I’m always revisiting favorite authors. I began on January 1st at midnight. Deadline is December 31st at 11:59pm.
