"The Delhi government has decided to provide free vaccines to everyone above 18 years of age. Today we have given the approval for the purchase of 1.34 crore vaccines. We will make an effort to ensure that it is purchased soon and administered at the earliest to people," said Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi, India.

Even Google has announced that the company will grant funds and donations to get the oxygen, testing equipment, and other necessary medical supplies.ย
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabetย tweetedย on Monday, "Devastated to see the worsening Covid crisis in India. Google & Googlers are providing Rs 135 Crore in funding to @GiveIndia, @UNICEF for medical supplies, orgs supporting high-risk communities, and grants to help spread critical information."
"Today weโre announcing 135 Crore INR ($18 million USD) in new funding for India. This includes two grants from Google.org, Googleโs philanthropic arm, totalling 20 Crore INR ($2.6 million USD)," saidย Google.
Google further added that the first fund will go for GiveIndia to provide cash assistance to those families who are most affected by the devastating impact of the virus and the second will be given to UNICEF to assist in getting the urgent medical supplies. This includes oxygen and testing equipment in the most demanding states in India.
To control the virus spread in the nation further, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of India (MOHFW) is taking some serious steps to raise awareness and provide essential action to control the spread of the virus. The MOHFW and the Ministry of AYUSH have come in front to fight the novel coronavirus through implementing the new clinical management protocol and conventional precautionary strategies to boost immunity.
