webby and gosalyn were the only ones i did mostly based off of 2017 because i didnt want webby to be a regular little girl and she should give off homeschooled vibes and gosalyn was mostly just based off of her single ponytail and her feather tone

Speaking of duck design, every cartoonist draws Fethry like a white duck, but he's half-loon. What if his design incorporated more of those loon elements?

Little black Fethry loonlet? That's goth as fuck and I love it (and so would Abner). Give him red eyes and a black and white feather design? Really sets him apart and fits his "odd duck" personality. Especially the red eyes. Goes well with his kooky nature.

Actually, Abner's biological mother died when I was only a year old and then I married my old childhood friend Lulu, who would conceive Mary and later Fethry.

Yes, she has Native American blood while I have Hispanic blood.

It makes me sad that most people around me are so unbelievably burnt out from work and life that they are just truly emotionally unavailable and don't even wanna use their energy for anything beside going out partying once a weekend

It's like watching friends who you've seen be silly and have deep talks work jobs to the point of stress where they are incoherent and respond to messages like legit 6 days later and not in a rude way but genuinely they don't have the mental capacity to do shit anymore

Working jobs and paying bills shouldn't take everything out of people to the extent it really does

Even when I'm off work and I had a shorter shift most of the time I truly have nothing left in the tank after the combo of emotions and physical labor

I recommend leaving the city behind and become a farmer. And by that I do NOT refer to what the modern world considers a "farmer".

So speaking of christianity, it will always make me feel very uncomfortable and sad when I see black people who are still christians. Not because they’re religious, but because christianity is a white supremacist religion that was forced onto black people back when black people were still enslaved, and they didn’t have a choice but to accept it and be brainwashed by it. And to see them still carrying that into the modern age, it just feels like I’m seeing yet another version of modern-day enslavement.

I don’t want to force anyone to not be a christian, because that would be wrong. You have a right to choose what religion you want. But it’s also very important to be aware of why so many black people are christians in the first place. Especially when a lot of black churches still have white depictions of angels and people in paintings. So not one person decided to change that?

Besides so many other reasons, I do not like, and never will like christianity.

This, by all respect, is pure nonsense. If anything is a white supremacist religion, Atheism is. Africa is still more religious than America. Nigeria is not Christian due to colonizers, but due to faith.

Anti homeschoolers are a fucking joke. “They don’t learn anything!” Actually I’ve learned way more than public school would ever teach me. “They’re isolated and don’t socialize!” I have way more friends than the average public school kid. “The parents just give them imaginary grades!” Even in my state, which is very lenient on homeschooling, I have to take a yearly evaluation. “I bet your parents didn’t let you learn real science!” Actually, only a very small minority homeschools for religious reasons. “It’s child abuse!” I think forcing children to go to what’s basically a prison 5 days a week is the real form of child abuse.
