Why I no longer celebrate the 4th

July 4th has always been for the white men, for those who were free. It was never intended for the minorities, for the women. With the end of freedom of abortion, I'm gonna forget celebrating July 4th and my country.

You can go ahead and celebrate. I won't judge children who do. I'm not going to judge minorities who love America more than I do, who celebrate the stars and stripes.

I see women's freedom at war. What's to love about the celebration of independence?

Go ahead and celebrate. Don't forget all the rights Americans miss out on: affordable healthcare, free college, affordable housing, humane work conditions, abortions, no fear of shootouts.
