I LOVE your Trigun fics—they capture the atmosphere, world, and characters of the manga so well. I’ve reread them multiple times. Vash and Meryl’s growing relationship feels so true to them: they care deeply but can’t quite say it out loud, yet still understand each other like they’re having a silent conversation. It’s heartbreaking, frustrating, and intimate all at once. It even reminds me of the characters in the movie In the Mood for Love. Thank you for the kind words! The comparison to In the Mood for Love is such a surprise. It is the film they're watching in chapter 2 by the way. I apologise for such a long wait for the next chapter. I've had a few creative blocks and then my life put writing my most recent chapter on pause (which I admit I have rewritten maybe three times because each version was feeling kind of dry for me....)

Your message is encouraging. Hopefully I find the time to put the latest chapter together in the next couple of weeks.
