Her eyes trail her serpentine sibling’s shimmering body and smirks, reaching up to trail a finger along the five foot fangs being offered.

“The worst that could happen is that her father’s avatar decides to pay us a visit but not much can be done because this wonderful sacrifice of yours will keep that undesirable essence from bubbling to the surface. Besides, this will aid her in the long run, end her fragmenting and raising the dead and all. I assure you, we won’t be having a precursor to Ragnarok so soon and certainly not from this little experiment. Yes my sister, there will be no sun eating serpents.”

Faking a frown, Einmyria snickers, studying the vein within the fang she took interest in, the scent of the venom within tingling the back  of her neck. 

“We don’t get to undermine Hela like our dear Jormungandr did, look what happened to them? Countless dead are lost and wandering. He’s lost his bloody mind and enraged several Old Ones and they’ve taken countless amounts of his venom, he’s focused the full fury of an abyssal demon upon himself… and where is Hela? GONE. Better this than have you supplant Hela… or worse, Tiamat.”

A sneer forms along her face as thin fingers touch the flesh of Ior’s gums.

“Think  of something pleasant because this will hurt.”

“A lot.”

Jotunheim is also known as Utgard (pronounced “OOT-guard;” Old Norse Útgarðr, “Beyond the Fence”), a name which establishes the realm as occupying one extreme end of the traditional Germanic conceptual spectrum between the innangard and the utangard. That which is innangard (“inside the fence”) is orderly, law-abiding, and civilized, while that which is utangard (“beyond the fence”) is chaotic, anarchic, and wild. Although Loki costumes are incredibly magnificent, I insist! … That use to go to Jotunheim in “Thor” is my favorite! … I love as seen in that suit.
