I have recently acquired a protogen! I named him Aether and drew him doing a little blep.

The rot merged dms has now been update on the workshop! I think this looks a lot better now.

The update to Rot Merged Sig's dms is looking pretty good. Certainly the one I'm most proud of. I've got just a little more experimenting I want to do with the sprites, but it's almost ready to have the update released on the workshop.

yo can you add a non rot verant to the DMS mod too? just the normal iterators look good and i sometimes like to use them as just a normal skin as the iterators or use the full rot merged skins, just depends on how im feeling at the time in the end

Oh? I had originally assumed that people would just use iterator walk if they wanted rotless iterators... But I actually like this idea, so I might make this a stand alone mod for just the rotless versions of my iterators. Good excuse to finally make my own designs for Innocence and Wind too.

Remember that old rot merged dms I made? Well, I've started work on improving the tentacles. (Because currently they look more like weird tail feathers and that's been kind of bugging me.)

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything; burnout was hitting me hard last year. But I’ve recently been starting to recover, and I’ve been having fun working on a new rot based au that I’m very excited about sharing.

NSH is going to be a very important character in this au – as he’s the unwitting origin of this rot. An info page on him is in the works and close to being finished, but here’s a teaser of what he looks like for now.

I figured it was about time I revealed that I actually have several iterator ocs other than Calamity – a whole local group of them in fact. I’ve been working on perfecting their designs and lore for awhile now, and I now feel they’re finally in a mostly presentable state. I’m looking forward to revealing more with them once I get round to drawing it, but this simple character line up should do for now.

Consider this a small teaser for what’s to come.

My rot merged sona – Dreams of Calamity – now has a proper ref sheet! :D

(Rot merged are an original subspecies of iterator I made. More info on them can be found deeper into my blog.)

Short character description below the cut:

Dreams of Calamity is a fierce hunter with a voracious apatite. Yet despite the hunger and predatory instincts her rot imposes on her – she still remains mostly peaceful towards sentient creatures. Though, she’s also quite mischievous and can be a bit of a menace with her love for joking around... Quite a lot like NSH when you think about it actually. (I’m sure they would get along quite well.)

I've been real busy lately, y'know, with all conversions and the nesting in walls. Don't even get me STARTED on the Rot Bread incident.

This isn’t the first species reference page I made for the rot merged, but I felt the need to make one that helps clarify on some details about their hunting and feeding mannerisms. Because as we all know, the rot consumes, and letting yourself be merged with it means you must do the same. >:)

My rot merged DMS skins have recently been updated!

The main changes are:

I finally gave the rot merged mouths to better fit their actual intended design, I gave everyone but Pebbles pupils to match my more recent iterator designs, I added colorless versions for more customization options, and I added Sliver of Straw. (Don’t asked how, Moon must have gotten a hold of a time travel device.)

So while this took me a lot longer than it should have, (mostly because I’ve been working on a new rot merged species reference page to release shortly after this)... I have finally brought the Rot Merged Discord Server up into a usable state! It's still not perfect, but at least it now has all the channels it needs to function as a good space for chatting, sharing art, and role playing!

So feel free to join me there if you like the Rot Merged AU, or if you just want to have a small, accepting community of fellow Rain World fans to hang out with! But beware... The rot consumes. >:)
