Woody Allen is a piece of shit pedophile and a talentless hack that has been sailing through life by writing his self-inserts into stupidass movies and TV shows, and is given a pass by the idiotic film geeks and ‘geeky’ male film critics he panders to by allowing them to see themselves in his stupidass male protagonists that are always the same :/

Anyone defending this man and giving him a pass, as well as knowingly working with this walking turd after Dylan’s 2014 open letter about what she went through is a piece of shit, point blank. It’s even worse when they then pretend to care about the current state of affairs, yet put on their SUDDENLYCANTREAD glasses in favor of an award they will probably never win since: a) they most likely suck, thus are thirsty for some semblance of recognition in order to be part of the group of actors that have fooled hollyweirdos into think they can act b) allen sucks as well and is a shambling corpse being kept alive by cracker flavored nostalgia

It’s 2018, you fucking dweebs. This kind of shush-shush bullshit belongs in 2009, or another time where people were truly powerless, not right now where people thankfully are now able to speak a little more freely about a whole load of nasty issues that are part of Hollyweird thanks to social media and the increasing importance people have given to social awareness. (Whether people truly think of this as important, or have adopted an act of ‘wokeness’ as part of their image is another story and another post for another day 👀)

To the mun of color who play characters who are white and get quickly accused as white by someone because it’s the default setting unless you post selfies every fifteen minutes.

To the muns of color who have felt that their muses were neglected because their muses are of color. To the muns of color who look for the right face claims for representation and are still worried it isn’t enough.

To the muns of color who have gently told someone their portrayal of a character was racist and would be able to provide resources only to be told they were racist for even mentioning it.

To the muns of color that do research. To the muns of color who put their own backgrounds in characters, pouring love and care but were afraid their character wasn’t a good enough person of color or got worried but did it anyways because your voice is important. Because you can make mistakes and learn and make your characters better.

To the muns of color that were made that their nerdy interests made them too white. To the muns of color who had to endure casual racism from their partners.

To the muns of color who know internal racism is a thing and have to be kinder to themselves and others. To muns of color who reach out to other muns of color, so they feel like they belong. The muns of color who make their own icons and gifs because dark skin is beautiful, brown is beautiful, all face claims of color are beautiful.
