//Guys, I had to learn how to herd cows today. I was sitting having a chat with my dad after dinner, and we suddenly realized that about 30-40 cows were in the lane outside the kitchen, and that they were heading for the entrance to the hall gardens (which I am technically responsible for after hours).
So, instead of working on my Billy/Teddy fic or my Scisaac one, I had to spend an hour IN THE POURING RAIN stomping around in a lane full of cow pies and confused bovines, trying to keep them off the property so that when the WHOLE BOARD OF DIRECTORS shows up on Friday, I'll still have a job.
// I promise I'll be back soon. I've just been busy this week hiking around with my dad, who came out to visit me at what was probably great expense. We've been having a lot of fun (with at least one cow-related incident per day). Seriously; the night he got here, someone let the calves out of their field and scared them into a major road with firecrackers (in the middle of the night). Then on Monday, we got chased back and forth around a field for half an hour by a herd of ornery juvenile bulls. Yesterday, we almost ran into ANOTHER herd of bulls that were lying in wait behind a low hill, and today THIS! IT MUST BE A CONSPIRACY.
But we did also go to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway today. Also known as the world's cutest railway ever. Which was fun, and we went hiking too, which was nice because I don't do that much anymore.
