Hey guys..

A little while ago, someone well-known contacted me and said they reported my account by mistake. They even asked their friends on Discord to report me too, saying it was an honest mistake because they thought I was someone who had scammed them.Honestly, I wasn’t really comfortable with what they said, and I think their account might have been hacked. I don’t want to say their name right now, but please, if anyone contacts you privately with a similar story or anything like that, just ignore it

this... literally happened to me like 2 hours ago.

I thought it was just a misunderstanding and all but having to hear about the threats made me panic and they even logged in into my account until they left(?, I'm not so sure) in my account on tumblr. I was lucky they didn't get too far to touch my money since they said I'm getting sued if I didn't have the card and I thought I actually was, until I realized that it was in dollars and I'm not even from america, so I calmed down.

I wish I could've seen this sooner though, and I still can't. But I hope people will be more aware of this issue here and there

My account has been reported by accidents and they have come clean to me about that little mistake, they have mistaken me for that user who scam them out of their money. they had their friends help report this user but accidentally reported me by mistake because of similar profile picture

I am not very tech savvy

I'm trying to make a discord as they suggested I do and explain the mix-up

But I am having a little bit-ish a lot of trouble trying to do that I don't know if it's just my phone or discord doesn't work with me so either it'll take a while or I'll be too late.

I don't have any family members who use discord so it's kind of foreign to me too.

It has been a long while since I've used discord I admit.

I didn't know Tumblr had discord support, they sent me a screenshot of their submitted frequent report and repeatedly told me that it was an honest mistake, I forgive you 🩷

I won't lie this shook me up a little bit, I have reported to Tumblr about the little mistake on the Tumblr app on category terminated account and hope to hear a reply. this has never happened to me so I'm a little anxious and a little dizzy about the whole situation I am not in the right State of mind to do this since I have a lot more things going on in my life.

So just in case I can't do it in time I might make another Tumblr account

I haven't gotten the name of the user who has been scamming people of their money, using my profile picture or something similar to my profile picture, username yet

I hope they get Justice and that the user who is scamming victims have their money is rightfully punished

Sorry if my writing is a little funny I'm very sleepy pulling an all-nighter

So just in case if I am too late to settle the matter or unable to reach or get a reply from Tumblr or this discord Tumblr thing my account may be gone by mistaken identity cuz of my profile picture

The same thing happened to me as well, and I was almost scammed until I suddenly found this post, I instantly stopped myself from making a horrible mistake.
